It is spooky season, and what better way to celebrate than to look back at some idols who have become iconic for being spooked a little too easily? These idols might be the boldest and the most hardcore performers on stage, but when they come face to face with a little jumpscare, something unearthly, or perhaps a ghostly affair, they would much rather opt for flight rather than fight.

Here are some male K-Pop idols who make us want to protect them in the face of horror.

1. TREASURE's Choi HyunSuk

HyunSuk is a ray of pure sunshine who must not be clouded by even an inch of spooky stuff. Horror movies are the bane of his existence, and he would much rather bury his head into a pillow than allow his eyes to watch even a second of it. He hates surprises and doesn't hesitate to cling to his members when he feels afraid. His default defense mode is when his palms form what his members call "knives" in an attempt to ward off possible danger. Dare we say, it is the cutest thing ever!

2. ASTRO's Cha EunWoo

The list of things Cha EunWoo is scared of is most probably endless, but his reaction to the said list is actually quite endearing. He hates scary movies and is deathly afraid of the paranormal. If he had it his way, EunWoo would never come in the vicinity of anything supernatural. However, we have no doubt that if EunWoo were to take on a horror project, he would exceed everyone's expectations with his brilliance. This is part of the reason why we're so eagerly looking forward to his upcoming drama "Island" where he plays a priest/exorcist. Needless to say, we already know that it is going to be a masterpiece.

3. ONEUS' KeonHee

When it comes to idols who get scared easily, KeonHee has no competition for the top spot. He gets startled even by the drop of a pin! He's usually so focused that even the slightest disturbance can cause him to jump out of his seat. When he does get scared, he instantly vocalizes it, usually by screaming at the top of his lungs. All the TO MOON in the world must want to comfort him in those moments, but they cannot deny that it does elicit a giggle or two, usually because he looks so cute.

4. SF9's ZuHo

ZuHo's tryst with ghosts is an unending saga of suspicion, paranoia, and chaos. If ZuHo were in a horror movie, he would be the one who constantly keeps seeing and hearing things that nobody else does. In addition, when faced with anything scary, ZuHo has a tendency to either freeze, calmly work his way through the chills he just got, or react in the most unexpected way possible, such as dancing. His iconic V-Live, where he scared himself thinking there were ghosts in the FNC building, will always be unforgettable.

5. The Entire WEi Coward Line

Finally, closing out this list, we have the legendary coward line from WEi: Jang DaeHyeon, Yoo YongHa & Kim YoHan. When it comes to these three, each one outdoes the other in their reaction to unknown horrors. Be it mystery boxes or haunted houses, you best believe they will be spooked. However, it is also true that they have consistently faced their fears in numerous instances and have powered through despite being scared. Now, that's what you call real bravery.
