Starting their career as GFriend members, VIVIZ have been making their mark on the K-Pop scene for a while now. They've left quite the impact, able to impress millions across the globe. From their endearing personalities to dazzling stage presence, they turn heads at every point of their career, making anyone a 'MANIAC' for the girl group. And while they might shine particularly bright together, they contain amazing individual talent as well.
VIVIZ's UmJi has been busy setting up her own social media accounts to provide an even wider range of content to fans worldwide. She recently opened her very own TikTok account, @djawlgg, and YouTube channel, umazingday. It seems there isn't a fixed concept for either account as they are a means to showcase the various sides of the idol. With this in mind, it's exciting to think about all the different types of content UmJi will eventually release.
Now, let's talk about some of things we'd be thrilled to see on UmJi's new YouTube channel!
1. Melodic Vocal Covers
UmJi is talented in many different ways, vocals included. She has already uploaded one vocal cover of Lee MuJin's 'Episode' and she sounds absolutely angelic. Although she's previously uploaded videos that showcase her vocal prowess before, she'll have the opportunity to share her love for singing on a regular basis, which fans are sure to love.
2. Solo Vlogs
Vlogs are no foreign concept in the world of K-Pop. However, in the case of VIVIZ, the girl group has mainly shared group vlogs with all three members. Having a personal YouTube channel allows UmJi to share even more of her life with fans across the globe. These solo vlogs also have the potential to include fellow idols outside her group, showcasing her celebrity friend group.
3. Exploration Of New Hobbies
While idols are naturals at setting the stage on fire, they have a life outside the bright flashing lights of stardom. In their downtime they're just like the rest of us with normal likes and dislikes. With her own personal YouTube channel, UmJi could bring fans along as she explores new hobbies. We could see the idol take a pottery class, do pretty flower arrangements, or even try her hand at another mukbang like her very first upload.
4. Collaboration With Other Artists
VIVIZ's official YouTube channel focuses on highlighting the members as they go about various schedules. However, as UmJi now has a brand new creative outlet, this opens the door for future collaborations with various artists. This could be as simple as meeting up for a meal like with Weki Meki's Choi YooJung. Or it could be as grand as a harmonious duet performance. Whichever route UmJi chooses, fans are ready to watch and support.
5. Potential YouTube Variety
YouTube variety programs are all the rage, with a new show popping up every few months. It has become an alternative to broadcasting stations and with the virality that they bring, an opportunity to make new fans worldwide. UmJi has the potential to make her very own with the creation of umazingday. It could stem anywhere from a healing talk show to a more lively atmosphere that will stimulate the senses and get everyone excited for what might come next.
