One of the things that makes the tvN drama so great is its incredibly star-studded cast. Individually, Kim SooHyun and Kim JiWon are established veterans in the industry, with each earning enormous acclaim and accolades. Not only do they have a loyal following of supportive fans, but critics always offer them the highest amounts of praise.

But the talent doesn't stop there, as they are also joined by the likes of Park SungHoon, Kwak DongYeon, and Lee JooBin. Although they might not be the focal point, they've already added another layer of depth, showing they could be one of the factors that push our main couple forward. With their indisputable talents, "Queen Of Tears" is sure to be a roaring success.

          Strength Found In Others

While "Queen Of Tears" boasts a larger than life cast, its characters feel extremely isolated. Within the first few episodes, you can absolutely feel the walls they've built up over the years, creating a similar type of distance in the real world. Most especially for Baek HyunWoo and Hong HaeIn, despite being married for three years, they've only grown apart, standing a crater-length distance away from each other.

However, there are small instances where these walls falter and momentarily disappear. It's in these moments that we see our two main characters return to their old selves and find strength in one another. As they continue to work through their relationship woes, they'll continue to slowly lean on one another and discover the energy needed to continue forward together.

          Complex Nature Of Relationships

While at first, it might seem like the drama is coated in a pink-colored filter of romance, we soon learn there's more to the story than meets the eye. Whether it's between a couple or family members, the drama does well in showing the many different layers a relationship has. It many ways, it's not so clear cut, as some are covered in unresolved trauma that they must work on throughout the series.

This aspect of the drama will surely hit some audiences harder than others, finding solace that their situation is seen and felt by the entire world. And however complex these relationships might be, there also lies the simplicity of simply having another person by your side. The way "Queen Of Tears" approaches human relationships, both platonically and romantically, will have viewers coming back for more.

          A True Realization Of Love

Coming into "Queen Of Tears", we know that Baek HyunWoo and Hong HaeIn's relationship is in tatters. And while K-Dramas have taught us they'll repair everything in the end, even this is not a guarantee. However, there are short glimpses of hope as Baek HyunWoo unearths old feelings that he thought long forgotten.

From the subtle way he looks at Hong HaeIn to how he rushes to her rescue, it's obvious that he is still concerned with her wellbeing. And just as his friend, Kim YangGi (Moon TaeYu), compared loving someone to swimming, we're certain Baek HyunWoo will come around and once again find himself caught up in the current of love. This slow, yet steady promise of realization will have audiences waiting with bated breath for the upcoming episodes.
