Let's get to know our boy crush, Shin SeungHo!

If you're new to Shin SeungHo, here's some basic information about him. Shin SeungHo was born on 11 Nov. 1995, and is a multifaceted talent.

Some might not know that before starting his career as an actor, he was doing extremely well in his soccer career.

Shin SeungHo was a soccer athlete for 11 years before transitioning to acting. He gave up his soccer career because he found that soccer didn't make him happy anymore. So, naturally, he quit.

It's actually quite admirable that he has shared this so openly with his fans who may be having the same concerns about what makes them happy in life. Shin SeungHo has shown that moving on from something that doesn't make you happy, despite you being good at it, is sometimes the wiser decision.

In fact, thanks to his athletic background, he played a lot of athletic roles in the first portion of his acting career. Shin SeungHo once said in an interview that he thinks that living the life of an athlete helped him with his acting as it gave him a certain air of confidence.

He also gained the confidence to pursue modeling, which he did before debuting as an actor. He made his modeling debut at 2017 S/S Seoul Fashion Week. Some of the people in the fashion industry told him that he'd be better suited to acting due to his frame which was more muscular than most models. So, he started to study acting and then made his acting debut a year later.

Shin SeungHo made his acting debut in the role of Nam ShiWoo in the hit web drama "A-Teen" (2018). He showed his sincerity through the role and innocent charm that sparked the curiosity of the viewers.

His character in "At Eighteen" (2019) as Ma HwiYoung showed his talent for acting out a conflicting character. He took fans on a rollercoaster ride of feelings about his character by making them half-hate him and also feel sympathy for him.

His role in the K-Film "Double Patty" (2021) alongside Red Velvet's Irene was another memorable one of his works. This was his first film role and it highlighted a lot of his charms like his physicality and deep voice, to name a couple.

Shin SeungHo's chilling portrayal of Sergeant Hwang JangSu in "D.P." (2021) also had K-Drama fans buzzing about his convincing acting. Many were surprised by his realistic portrayal of the character despite not having served in the military in real life yet.

In the "Alchemy Of Souls" franchise as Crown Prince Go Won, he had fans calling him 'Your Highness' as his character was the epitome of regal. This character showed his duality the best as we got to see him play an elegant but somewhat arrogant character with an adorable side. In fact, it's said that his character as the Crown Prince was created after the director met with him because they thought that it might be a more suitable character than the other ones that were decided beforehand.

In fact, Kim DoWan's mother once said that her impression of him was so good that if she had daughters, she would've loved to have him as a son-in-law.

He is a huge family man and is so close to his parents that they have a friendship-like relationship. He especially looks up to his father and the way that he treats him and his mother, citing that one day he wants to play the same role that his father did in his own family.

One must-watch show, if you want to get to know more of Shin SeungHo's personality, is the "Game Caterers" special with the artists and actors from Starship Entertainment. In the show, he shows just how easygoing he is and how much he is willing to try new things and have fun with everyone in an inclusive way.
