"Fantasy Boys" Official
MBC’s “Fantasy Boys” has finally reached its climactic end. Throughout the entirety of the competition, the contestants showed tremendous passion that shone even brighter as they crossed the finish line. Their obvious drive just shows how determined they were to make it into the debut group.
Through the competition program, we got to see everything from new performances to behind the scene chemistry between our favorite trainees. The finale was no different as it once again put the idol hopefuls face to face with yet another set of challenges.
Here’s a recap of what happened on the final episode of MBC’s “Fantasy Boys”.

1. Team Hong SungMin
After the semi-final eliminations, the contestants that made up Team Hong SungMin were Hong SungMin, Soul, Kaedan, Oh HyunTae, Kang MinSeo, Ling Qi, and Ha SeokHee.
Hong SungMin was shown to be a strict leader, making sure all the other members nailed the dance moves perfectly. All their efforts proved to be a success as they amazed the producers during their evaluation session.
However, they faced their biggest obstacle when exactly half of their team was eliminated heading into the finals. Despite this setback, Team Hong SungMin was able to put on a spectacular performance that captured the hearts of both fans and the producers sitting in front of them.
2. Team Yu JunWon
After the semi-final eliminations, the contestants that made up Team Yu JunWon were Yu JunWon, Hikaru, Kang DaeHyun, Kim WooSeok, TaeSeon, Hwang JaeMin, Moon HyunBin, Kim GyuRae, Lee HanBin, Yuma, Hikari, Santa, and Keum JinHo.
Things were off to a rocky start with JunWon’s first time being a leader and the difficult dance intro. This shakiness carried on with the team through their first evaluation, prompting words of feedback and criticism from the producers.
Taking their words to heart, JunWon thought long and hard on how to make a suitable performance for the finals. This led him to rearrange his members’ parts and help in whatever way possible. Through leader JunWon’s efforts and the team’s hard work, they were able to put on a finals performance that they could be proud of.
3. Leading Up To The Final Announcement
After the conclusion of their finals performances, both teams were called back onto stage. Everyone in the studio and fans across the world waited nervously as the votes were tallied. After some heart-pounding build up, it was announced that Team Hong SungMin had won and would receive a full team benefit.

Then, "Fantasy Boys" presented various forms of content that soothed viewers' hearts everywhere. This included a game to clear up the contestants' misunderstandings with one another and a lovely fan song. The contestants were also given a special treat as they received various presents from their family: a homecooked meal, written and video letters, as well as a visit from some of the trainees' parents. There was no dry eye in the room as the contestants were showered with love and support from their family members.
4. Introduction Of The Debut Group
After these heartfelt and touching moments, the survival program finally began their introduction of the debut group. The show revealed that the final lineup would be called FANTASY BOYS.
