"Queen of Tears" is the latest drama that is all the hype among K-Drama fans thanks to its cute but hilarious storyline. Starring Hallyu big names like Kim JiWon (as Hong HaeIn) and Kim SooHyun (as Baek HyunWoo), the drama tells the story of an ordinary worker, originally from the countryside in Korea, who marries the heiress of one of the biggest conglomerates in the country. At first, he marries her because he loves her but the realities of her world take a toll on their relationship until she hears some unfortunate news.
The drama has been captivating K-Drama fans from the cast, to the fashion, and even down to the filming locations.

1. The Hyundai Seoul
The 'Queens Group Department Store' is actually a department store run by a conglomerate in real life. The department store is called 'The Hyundai Seoul' and as you can tell by the name, is run by the Hyundai Group. Located in Yeouido, Seoul, this shopping mall has become one of the hottest spots in the city as it's filled with high-end and hip fashion brands; as well as the finest and trendiest restaurants and cafes.
In the drama, this is where Hong HaeIn and Baek HyunWoo work as the president and head of the law team respectively.
2. Shinwang Farm in Yesan, Chungnam
The flower field in "Queen of Tears" is actually a pear field called Shinwang Farm (신왕농원 in Korean) in Yesan, Chuncheongnam Province. The field is filled with rows of pear trees with beautiful white pear blossom flowers. There are also peach trees and pink-purple peach blossoms on the farm, opposite to the pears.
This is the field where Hong HaeIn landed her helicopter in Baek HyunWoo's hometown for them to reunite.
3. The Forum by Jaime Hayon at The Hyundai Daegu
The location where Hong HaeIn attends the Hercyna party and where Baek HyunWoo shows up much to the dismay of Park SungHoon's character, Yoon EunSeong, is called The Forum by Jaime Hayon at The Hyundai Daegu Department Store. It is a 4,565 square meter public cultural space that can be found on the ninth floor of the mall. The party scene takes place in the indoor plaza that was created with the intention of hosting performances and lectures.
4. Yongduri Supermarket in Mungyeong, Gyeongbuk
Unfortunately, one of the filming locations that you might be most curious about, the Yongduri Supermarket, is only a temporary drama set. Located in Mungyeong, the production staff created the drama set in the spot of an old container.
