This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material.
A 'girl crush' is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one's admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc.

Let's get to know our girl crush, Solar!

Solar is famous as a member of the vocal legend girl group MAMAMOO and as a soloist/actress. She is known for her powerhouse vocals that could bring you to tears with her beautiful tone. Solar, much like her stage name, is also an extremely bright star.
Let's get to know more about why we have the biggest crush on the dazzling talent today.

As we mentioned, Solar is a vocal powerhouse.
Stability. Solid technique. Rich tone. Vocal strength.
These are just a few of the words associated with her vocal prowess. Much like her hit song 'HONEY', Solar's sweet voice will drip into your ear and then down into your heart, trapping it in adoration.
Her voice is refreshing like cider and she has such stunning vocal technique that she makes skills such as falsetto seem as easy as breathing. No matter the genre, Solar will steal the show with her vocals every time.
Honestly, you could listen to any song cover or live performance by Solar and be impressed. However, the performance of this 2021 K-Pop medley should be an excellent starting point for you to hear her vocal charm.
Her vocal technique is also elevated by her deeper understanding of music. Solar has a number of credits for writing and composing MAMAMOO's, other artist's, and her own music.
Not to mention that her stage presence is just as captivating. Everything from her sense of rhythm and diverse facial expressions, to her attitude and the way that she simply enjoys herself on stage, will make you fall in love with her as a performer.

Above and beyond her idol activities, Solar has established herself in the industry as a musical actress and content creator. Her hard work and extreme dedication are the stuff of inspiration moodboards.
Her YouTube channel currently has 3.41 million subscribers (as of Sep. 14, 2022) and boasts a range of content showing not only her lifestyle, but travel vlogs, mukbangs, fitness videos, and much more in a wide range of content.

Despite making her acting debut through 'Mata Hari' (which many fans noted took a lot of courage, as musical actresses are held to such a high standard), she blew away audiences with her authentic acting and vocal prowess. Solar has been receiving rave reviews for her portrayal of the role and we love to see it.

Like we said before, Solar is as dazzling as her name. Her visuals, for one, make us feel like we are Icarus flying too close to the sun. It almost feels defiant to be able to gaze at her gorgeousness. How can she be so beautiful?
