The Look Of Love In Korean BL Dramas

        "Semantic Error" Drama

K-Dramas are getting more and more popular each day. But a few years ago a new category of K-Dramas emerged BL dramas. And despite being new in the market, BL dramas aren't lacking in quality or quantity. The episodes might be shorter than the original K-Dramas, but when it comes to sound production, they have no reasons to envy other K-Dramas. Like the original K-Dramas, BL dramas are full of beautiful sceneries and romantic scenes. And of course, actors need to be praised for this as well, because, after all, they are the ones expressing the emotions captures by the cameras.

During the past few years, BL dramas have become more and more popular, and the quality only keeps increasing. Especially when it comes to the acting and the romantic scenes, not only are there more of these, but it's always more intense as well. Don't you just love it when the two actors look at each other with honey eyes, showing all their love for each other without a single word? Today we gathered just for you some of the best looks of love in BL K-Dramas!

Note: This is not a ranking

        1. "Light On Me" (2021)

This scene from episode 10 sure got everyone melting. As TaeKyung (Lee SaeOn) previously got injured, ShinWoo (Kang YouSeok) is worried for him and starts opening up to TaeKyung more on the same occasion. If ShinWoo's worries for TaeKyung didn't get you, for sure ShinWoo's eyes fond of love for TaeKyung made your heart melt at that very moment.

        2. "Blueming" (2022)

Of course, how can we talk about the look of love without mentioning "Blueming"? This entire scene on the beach has shaken everyone's hearts at once! As this scene is pretty far into the drama, viewers already knew about the character's feelings, but this moment was so spontaneous, it got us all by surprise. But for sure, the way DaWoon (Cho HyukJun) looks at SiWon (Kang EunBin) here right before kissing him is to be remembered.

        3. "Cherry Blossoms After Winter" (2022)

This is one of the final scenes of the drama, and also when both characters are the deepest in love with each other. TaeSeong (Kang Hui (Kang Hee)) tried to make a cake for HaeBom (Super Five’s Ok JinWook), and you can easily see how much HaeBom is pleased with this simple gift, and how happy TaeSeong is about HaeBom's reaction. This scene is simply the purest love ever. They're not saying the word 'I Love You', but it is written in their eyes for everyone to see.

        4. "Semantic Error" (2022)

The bar scene has to be one of the iconic scenes of "Semantic Error". Not only was the lighting putting everyone in a flirty mood, but this is where it is all starting for SangWoo (DKZ's JaeChan) and JaeYoung (Park SeoHam). If SangWoo is still pretending to hate JaeYoung, this scene was when he first opened up about his feeling truthfully. But if SangWoo opened up to JaeYoung with actions, JaeYoung's feelings were already obvious in the way he looked at SangWoo.

        5. "Love Class" (2022)

During this cute double date scene, we start to see JiWoo's (Han HyeonJun) feeling changing. At first, he was nervous to be alone with RoA (Kim TaeHwan) for a few minutes, but then this moment happened which made it even clearer how he feels towards his classmate. When he naturally turned towards him and looked at him that way, it was so obvious that if not completely, he at least started to fall for RoA. We already got such a cute look of love in the first season, we're excited to see what season 2 will have for us!

        6. "Once Again" (2022)

"Once Again" also offered us many beautiful and cute romantic scenes in the middle of its complicated story! Close to the end of the drama, the scene where JiHoon (Lee HyunJun) gives a gift to JaeWoo (Moon JiYong) was not only very moving, but it was also a scene where both characters showed genuine love for each other. This gift is symbolizing a lot for both JaeWoo and JiHoon, but their eyes are the ones actually carrying their love for each other.

        7. "The New Employee" (2022)

This drama had everyone hooked from the very beginning with JongChan (Kwon Hyuk) and SeungHyun (Moon JiYong) being so much in love! Only as far as episode 3, the two were already looking at each other this way, so full of love, how could we resist? Not only are they so fond of each other, but during this scene, they also mention their feelings being mutual, which makes the whole moment looks even more romantic. Of course, the eyes say a lot, but when there are both the looks, the words, and the actions, it's a full package of love. And "The New Employee" delivered it to the viewers on a silver plate!

        8. "Roommates Of Poongduck 304" (2022)

Of course, there are no better looks of love than during the confession scene. There are pretty looks of love during intimate scenes or kiss scenes as well, but the confession scene being the moment the characters open their hearts to each other, it is a look of love pure and wholehearted. In this confession scene of "Roommates Of Poongduck 304", the team leader (Kim JiWoong) is finally opening up to his beloved roommate (Yoon SeoBin) as he is about to leave him. Usually being the strong character of the story, the moment he let down all his walls just for love was very moving, and it showed a new and different cute side of this team leader.

        9. "Individual Circumstances" (2023)

After a very moving moment when YeonWoo (Han JungWan) is taking WooJae (MYNAME's JunQ) outside, WooJae suggests getting lunch together, YeonWoo is then cheerful again, being his usual self. And being his usual self also means showing his love towards WooJae on every occasion he has. YeonWoo sure never misses a chance to look at WooJae with all the love he has for him. Despite acting childish most of the time, YeonWoo is being very truthful and mature about his feelings for WooJae, and we love to see him being so fond of his old friend!

No matter what, love is love, and those eyes full of love will never fail to make our hearts melt.
