The new Playlist drama "Kiss Goblin" just started with interesting first episodes.
It is the sweet and dangerous romance of a goblin who wants to become a human and a woman who hates humans. Bae InHuyk, Jeon HyeWon, Lee JungMin, Jang EuiSoo, and more are the lead actors.
In the recent episode 2, there is a scene that caught our attention. The lead actress (Jeon HyeWon) was somehow forced to go on a blind date and the guy that came was just ... the worst. He asked his friend to introduce him to her because he found her picture pretty.
Here what happened at the blind date between two college students who just met for the first time.
Male student: Hello
Female student: Hello
Male student: You look different from your picture.

Female student: What?
Male student: What editing app do you use? I want to download it. I pestered SeongSu [friend's name] for 4 nights and 5 days, to set me up with you.
Female student: You pestered him for 4 nights and 5 days. It's too bad I don't look good in person.

Male student: I was joking. I guess you're the type to hold grudges.
Female student: Holding grudges?
Male student: Making jokes is the best way to break the ice. Right?
The female student thought "People sometimes confuse being rude with being fun-loving".
Male student: You're not offended or anything, are you? You're not a square person, are you?
The atmosphere went even worst afterward so she cut him off.

Female student: You seem like you've been on a lot of blind dates.
Male student: Because I'm so smooth?
Female student: You must have been on a lot of blind dates regardless of the outcome. [She is implying that no ladies would have date him after a blind date].
Male student: Regardless of the outcome. That feels like a barbed comment.
Female student: You're not totally clueless. I want to stitch up your mouth with those barbs. I'm kidding.

The perfect (?) way to fire back at someone with a mean comment is to simply have the same attitude as them. He was "joking" about her picture being photoshopped so she "jokingly" said that he could never find a girl to date him.
