COVID-19 is impacting our life wherever we are in the world but there are plenty of exciting dramas to get us occupied at home in May.

Every month, Kpopmap selects 3 dramas that are about to start airing to look forward to. This new month has dramas of various genres with romance-comedy, fantasy, investigations, comedy, etc. It was hard to choose three of them.

Here are 3 dramas starting in May to not forget to watch.

1- "Mystic Pop-Up Bar"

When: From May 20 on JTBC and Netflix

Cast: BTOB‘s Yook SungJae, Hwang JungEum, Choi WonYoung

Summary: It tells the stories that happen at a pocha (outdoor bar) which is appearing late at night and in strange places.

Why watch?: If you are searching for a mysterious and comic drama to watch, this is for you. The story is based on webtoon. From the teasers, the drama seems fun and full of fantastic elements. The duo of Yook SungJae and Hwang JungEum also seems perfect for this plot and characters. A lot of people are expecting this drama since it was first announced.

2- "Soul Mechanic"

Cast: Shin HaKyun, Jung SoMin

Summary: It tells the story of psychiatrists who try to heal people going crazy in the crazy world they are living in.

Why watch?: The drama is about mental health, a major subject for a lot of us. KBS mentioned that this drama plans to "heal people's wounded hearts". The drama touches serious issues but seems to approach it in an entertaining way with a "freaky psychiatrist" and a girl with anger issues who keeps on fighting. It seems like the perfect drama to watch in these troubled times.

3- "Oh My Baby"

Summary: It tells the romance of Jang Hari a straightforward reporter for a parenting magazine who wants to skip marriage and only wants to have a baby and of the three men that belatedly caught her attention.

Why watch?: From the plot and teasers, the drama seems already comic and entertaining. What is interesting is that Jang NaRa will have love lines with these three men who are completely different one from another. There is no doubt that this time too she will have great chemistry with them. It seems like an interesting drama to have on your watchlist this month.
