Before the drama started, fans have been teased with mysterious teasers and pictures. After its premiere -on December 1st- viewers understood a bit more the story but in some ways also received another overload of secrets and unresolved mysteries.

The first episode was full of suspense and thriller along with the mysterious storyline. The CGI and special effects were great and the actors' acting was captivating.

Here are 3 reasons why viewers got hooked onto the storyline and were glued to their screen in the first episode.

1- ChanYeol Opening Scene And Strange Disappearance

ChanYeol opened the first scene of the drama. The idol's acting was great and the viewers were swapped into the drama in no time! ChanYeol -as Jung SeJoo- looked panic and ultra-stress in the streets of Spain. He was calling someone from the public phone. Viewers kept wondering: Who is following him? Who is this "bad guy" he is talking about? What is it that he carries? What is happening?

Without hanging the phone, he suddenly ran for his life until he reached the train. The scene got viewers anxious for him because it looked like a human chase but viewers were no being able to see who was the assailant - if there was.

Then after a short rest, all over the sudden, the weather changed and someone was out of the cabin. The boy's mysterious disappearance with gunshots but no corpse left the viewers shocked.

2- The First Appearance Of The "Magic"

HyunBin - as Yoo JinWoo- got to experience the "magic" in a rather scary and stunning scene. The man faced a knight (from Middle-Ages) in the middle of the street out of no-where. The knight got shot by several arrows and fall dead in front of him. All the scene is very mysterious and dark and let viewers somehow confused and curious about the upcoming events.

A few moments later, viewers understood that the drama is about an Augmented Reality game and that is all unreal and seen through contact lenses. However, the scene looks very much real and scary as one character broke the glasses of a car by jumping on it.

3- Cha HyungSeok, The "Bad Guy"?

ChanYeol mentioned in his brief call that he doesn't want to sell "it" to this "bad guy". Viewers wondered who is this "bad guy". After a moment, viewers understood that it was Park Hoon -as Cha HyungSeok- that was mentioned. HyunBin asked for his spy to look after him.

The reason why he is a "bad guy" is not clear, is it because of money or because of something else?

At the end of the first episode, the viewers are still left in the mystery and suspense even if they know now that it is centered on a AR (Augmented Reality) game.

Do you agree? How did you perceive the first episode?
