3 Times Cho SeungWoo Proved To Be A Happy Vitamin On "Divorce Attorney Shin"

        JTBC

Netflix is home to a wide selection of K-Dramas and the newest series to join the Netflix family is JTBC's "Divorce Attorney Shin". The webtoon-based drama revolves around Shin SungHan, played by Cho SeungWoo, an accomplished pianist turned attorney. He specializes in divorce cases, meets with various clients, and stands up for them. It's an incredibly heartwarming drama that will unexpectedly make a splash in your heart.

While main lead, Cho SeungWoo, is known for his more serious roles, his portrayal of Shin SungHan offers an unexpected twist to what we normally see from the actor. Unlike the cold prosecutor Hwang SiMok from "Stranger" or the genius engineer Han TaeSul from "Sisyphus: The Myth", Shin SungHan has an aura of warmth and comfort from the very beginning. You can just feel yourself gradually falling into his charms as the drama continues on.

Now, here are 3 times the actor proved to be a reenergizing happy vitamin on "Divorce Attorney Shin"!

Note: this post might contain spoilers.

        1. Being A Loving Uncle

        JTBC

Before being a pianist or divorce attorney, Shin SungHan is first and foremost a doting uncle. His face lights up from even a simple phone call with his nephew, Seo KiYoung (played by Kim JoonEui). They hold a special relationship with one another and look forward to their time spent together.

SungHan even leaves work early in order to prepare for his nephew's arrival. Although their time together is cut short, he does his absolute best to create happy, long-lasting memories with his beloved nephew. Anyone would love an uncle like Shin SungHan to hang out with and take care of them.

        2. Random Karaoke

A fun fact about Cho SeungWoo is that he comes from a musically-inclined family and has a stacked resume of musical appearances. So it's an absolute treat to hear him sing in K-Dramas, even if he does so comically. There are various scenes throughout the JTBC series in which Shin SungHan puts on his favorite tunes, doing impromptu karaoke.

While he's an amazing singer all on his own, he's funnier when his two closest friends join him. They bring the karaoke bar to the living room with some drinks and a portable microphone. While Shin SungHan acts unbothered, he quickly joins in on the fun, giving a stellar collaborative performance. We definitely need a friend like Shin SungHan in our lives.

        3. Cheering Up Those Around Him

Whether it's his longtime friends or former radio show host Lee SeoJin (played by Han HyeJin), Shin SungHan always finds a way to cheer up those around him. Not only does he have a way with words but his actions are heartfelt and filled with sincerity. Genuineness just flows through his veins, making it impossible to not feel good when he appears on the screen. Shin SungHan's kind-hearted nature has been consistent ever since the first episode, despite his sarcasm and sass. He might not know how to repair a door, but he sure can fix a person's broken spirit.
