Serving in the military is an unchanging reality and the pride of all Korean men, but it is mandatory. From 2022 to early 2024, idols born in 1994~1996, who have not enlisted yet, will have to leave for their mandatory military service. You can read below the K-Pop groups and K-Bands concerned, their debut year, and the year they're expected to start enlisting in the military.

We recently learned that BTS' members will fulfill their mandatory service. Jin will start probably at the end of the year, after the release of his first solo album "The Astronaut". GOT7, iKON, NCT 127, ONF, ONEWE, VANNER, DIOS, Megamax, and NIK will also start their service by the end of the year.

Following them, NU'EST, SEVENTEEN, Danggisio, About U, YDPP, VERIVERY, ANTARES, LIMITLESS, ONEUS, Dustin, RoaD-B, LUAMEL, Upstar, Viral Affair, Black Level, BIGDIPPER and PATZ will have to serve next year, 2023.

Finally, THE BOYZ, 2Z, E'LAST, F.ABLE, FISTBUMP, The Whales, ABLUE, I1IT, and TAN will have to enlist in 2024.
