4 Ways ENA's "Moon In The Day" Has Kept Viewers At The Edge Of Their Seats

        ENA

Ever since entering the K-Drama scene, ENA has produced series that are thrilling, thought-provoking, and extremely warmhearted all in one. They explore a variety of different themes, digging deep into the human condition while also providing shows that keep audiences entertained. Most recently, modern and historical fusion K-Drama, "Moon In The Day," has joined the station's ever-growing catalogue. The drama features Pyo YeJin and Kim YoungDae as its main leads.

The series follows Kang YoungHwa (Pyo YeJin), the reincarnation of DoHa's (Kim YoungDae) dear lover. They share a fate that has been stained by misfortune and tragedy. But now, they hope to put an end to everything and find out the truth behind their untimely demise.

"Moon In The Day" has arrived at its halfway mark and maintains a firm grip on viewers as they watch the two main characters' destiny unfold. Filled with yearning, regret, and the slightest of romance, audiences cannot help but excitedly anticipate what will happen next.

Here are a few ways "Moon In The Day" has kept audiences at the edge of their seats!

        Note: spoilers ahead!

        1. High Risk Professions

Kang YoungHwa has built up a career as a prominent firefighter, willing to put her own life on the line in order to save others. Even when she's forced to step away from her job, she takes on the role of a bodyguard, another risk-filled position. Then, there's DoHa, vengeful spirit and proven warrior who excels on the battlefield.

As they dive into their professions, audiences become concerned for their safety and ultimately hope for their safe return home. While honorable to fight for a cause, the danger in their lines of work is immense and doesn't seem to subside even in the comfort of home.

        2. The Strength Of Vengeful Spirits

For the warriors of old, they're always on high alert, unaware of whether or not they will make it back alive. And although they fight against human enemies, unwavering, vengeful spirits look to best them in both strength and ferocity.

"Moon In The Day" shows two extremes, one spirit who desires complete destruction and another who seeks much needed closure. Regardless of their intentions, they make viewers wait with bated breath to see their next move and how they will affect the living world.

        3. Blossoming Romance

Dangerous situations and the terror of powerful spirits aren't the only allure of "Moon In The Day." As Kang YoungHwa begins to remember bits of her old life, her feelings for DoHa start to grow. She makes it completely clear that she's her own person, however, cannot help the feelings of romance that have started to brew in her heart. Moving forward, audiences will have to wait and see how they interact with one another and if they'll allow their heart to take the lead.

        4. Ill-Fated Love Story

At the very core of "Moon In The Day" is DoHa and Kang YoungHwa's ill-fated love story. While their destinies are intertwined, it is filled to the brim with misfortune and tragedy that force them to be apart. Watching their past life has kept audiences immersed into the storyline as they wait for the reason why DoHa had to be slain by his most precious lover.
