Last week marked the end of another heart-pounding K-Drama, "Love In Contract". The tvN drama starred rom-com queen Park MinYoung as Choi SangEun, Ko KyungPyo as Jung JiHo, and Kim JaeYoung as Kang HaeJin. The trio did an excellent job in portraying their characters, creating an amusing balance within the love triangle. They were loveable, downright stylish, and a refreshing breath of fresh air.
While the acting was superb, the interesting plot of "Love In Contract" made fans anticipate each new episode week after week. The drama had an amazing balance of quirkiness, obstacles, and heartfelt romance. "Love In Contract" was an absolute joy to watch and could very well be binged multiple times.

1. "Honey, I'm hungry. Come in, let's eat."
At this point, it was made clear that Jung JiHo and Choi SangEun's contract marriage was potentially ending soon. She wanted to start anew in a another country and pursue a genuine relationship. But you could see the sparks start to fly as soon as the words left JiHo's lips. His words were so out of character that it left SangEun breathless — along with everyone watching. Okay JiHo, we'll come eat now.
2. Jung JiHo's Drunken Confession
A glass of liquor, falling rain, and unspoken feelings: the set up for this moment is perfect. Using liquid courage, JiHo makes a drunken yet heartwarming confession, sharing how he truly feels. While he seemed indifferent during the period of their contract marriage, he was simply trying his best to keep SangEun by his side.
3. Heartfelt Yacht Date
It wouldn't be an amazing K-Drama without a good dose of second lead syndrome. Despite JiHo and SangEun being a match made in heaven, there were many moments with Kang HaeJin that made our hearts flutter out of control. The sunset in the background added to the warm ambience of the scene and made you consider rooting for Kang HaeJin's successful love story. You can't help but imagine a world where the two go on many more yacht dates after this.
4. Jung JiHo and Choi SangEun Kiss Scene
It all starts with an argument between JiHo and SangEun that seems serious, sprinkled with dashes of humor in between. Then once the rain starts to fall, they retreat to the safety of JiHo's car. Inside the car their true emotions, along with a confession, slip out, ending with a steamy kiss. It's a moment of sweet victory as JiHo finally takes the lead and follows his heart. You can't help but smile and squeal in excitement at this long-awaited moment.
5. A Breathtaking Marriage Proposal
Who says the guy needs to propose first? Even at the very end, Choi SangEun exudes girl boss energy and shows that she's completely capable of taking the lead. Her proposal is lovely, grand, and perfectly matches her personality. JiHo is left utterly stunned and at a total loss for words. This scene was a complete serotonin boost and continues to play in our head.
