When it comes to music, the year 2023 so far has been promising as by its 1st quarter alone, there have been many amazing releases that have had us duly impressed and singing our lungs out every time we listen to them.

Purely addictive, there have been many songs released this year that we have found ourselves either watching on a loop, endlessly streaming or just playing on repeat. From its catchy lyrics to its groovy rhythm, even when these songs are not on, we somehow have them stuck in our minds, and at random moments, we may find ourselves singing every lyric as well.

While there have been so many amazing releases in the 1st quarter of the year so far, here are some that are simply too addictive and we can't stop listening to, even if we tried.

1. IVE - 'I AM'

Whatever concoction IVE creates and adds to their music in their studios to make it so addictive and captivating is clearly working as with all their releases, it's been nothing but great reviews and successes. 'I AM' joins the growing list of hit records they've released so far and like many, we find ourselves listening to the song on repeat. Especially its catchy pre-chorus and chorus that sends a rush of excitement and sparks of confidence through your veins.

2. EXO's Kai - 'Rover'

When November came and went last year, we thought we would not be getting a Kai solo comeback but lo and behold, by March, he came over, rolling in his Rover and we were all falling over as the music industry?! He once again took over. The definition of addictive, Kai made this song so catchy that even while you're not listening to it, you could still be hearing it play in your mind and somehow visualize yourself doing its viral dance challenge.

Honestly, a masterpiece! There are no proper words to express the feeling this song evokes but we will say this, regardless of the amazing and record-breaking songs that will be released this year, 'Beautiful Liar' will still be one of the best songs of 2023. For years now the name MONSTA X and hit records go hand in hand, as they continue to show that their creativity and sound are just as unique as it is exciting and awe-inspiring. And when it comes to songs that get stuck in your mind or you just can't stop listening to, they take the crown in this category as they have a discography filled with songs that are addictive. They even have a song called 'Addicted' as well.

4. BIGBANG's TaeYang x BTS' JiMin- 'Vibe'

A collaboration we never knew we needed, TaeYang x JiMin came, delivered, and left us all stunned by this release. A collaboration of the year prospect, this viral hit had everything that made it a success and in our opinion, the star power of both artists wasn't the key reason. From its sultry and dreamy vocals to its groovy rhythm, this song could very well fit into every mood and make every moment such a vibe.

For years, the anticipation of fans around JinYoung's solo debut has been high for due reasons. And with the release of his album and this song 'Cotton Candy', every form of expectation was met and surpassed. With vocals as sweet as cotton candy, JinYoung pleased our every sensory note, evoking a sweet feeling of delight and bliss as we all made a note that said "Yes, this is what we've been waiting for."

Vocals?! ✔ Rap?! ✔ ( and by the music video, dance?! ✔), many fans call this the best comeback ever and we have to agree as TXT continues to show their impressive growth with each release.
