"From Now On, Showtime!" is MBC's ongoing drama, starring Park HaeJin, Jin KiJoo, Jung JoonHo and Kim HeeJae as leads in the drama. The first episode of "From Now On, Showtime!" premiered on April. 23rd, 2022 and has successfully caught the interest of many viewers. The drama has received its best rating of 4.1% for its latest episode (episode 6).

"From Now On, Showtime!" is a fantasy rom-com. The drama introduces Park HaeJin as Cha ChaWoong, a popular magician that amazes the audience with his tricks. But what they don't know is that Cha ChaWoong can summon ghosts. He is the grand son of a great shaman, but seeing how people betrayed him. ChaWoong vows to never help anyone, instead uses his ability to gain fame.

Go SeulHae (Jin KiJoo) is a passionate police officer with supernatural powers of her own but is afraid to own them. She learns about ChaWoong's secret ability and asks him to join forces with her to eliminate criminals in society.

Now as a team, the story progresses with their relationship deepening into something more...maybe romance?

The show offers a unique and interesting story line, being the right combination of mystery, fantasy, comedy and romance.

2. The Swoon Worthy Lead Couple

The drama introduces Park HaeJin (Cha ChaWoong) and Jin KiJoo (Go SeulHae) as the lead couple.

Cha ChaWoong is a charismatic performer who dazzles the crowd with his tricks. His shows are top-notch and with many are eager to watch him, he is in high demand. ChaWoong exhibits an essence of arrogance in his manner of speaking, his straight posture and demanding tone. In episode 1, he is seen conversing with the ghost (though we do not hear or see them). The ghost had various complaints but he turned them down, claiming himself to be the 'law'.

He makes no compromises in his shows, like in episode 1, though he was told that there were some technical difficulties. ChaWoong still went with it because it was the highlight of the show. He is confident that no one will ever be able to discover his secret, that is till Go SeulHae enters the scene. Park HaeJin makes ChaWoong ten times more attractive; we love him in that role.

Seeing Jin KiJoo is enough to have us swooning over her.

Go SeulHae is a righteous cop who believes in justice and considers the law as sacred. Be it in her uniform or without, she will be on duty if needed. Unlike ChaWoong, she is very expressive with her thoughts and emotions. She meets ChaWoong through an incident during his shows and they too soon partner up.

Their chemistry shined right through their first meeting. The two, though, clashed and SeulHae was left with a bad impression. Their interaction made us feel butterflies. And as their relationship develops, the butterflies grow!

3. The Spectacular Shows On "From Now On, Showtime!"

Cha ChaWoong does live shows and even appears on television screens. His acts are unbelievable and leave the crowd shocked by what they see. People call him the God Of Magic.

Though the viewers are aware that his acts are aided by ghosts, we are still amazed by them. The shows are grand and still hold a mystery. Will he be able to do it? One is bound to question the suspense that builds up. Be it when ChaWoong has to escape a water or tank or rides his motorbike whilst arrows are shot at him, the viewers are on the edge of their seats.

Whilst the show featuring ChaWoong with SeulHae warms our hearts, as she 'flies to him' but falls, though caught on time. And we are left in awe.

"From Now On, Showtime!" is an amazing combination of fantasy, romance and mystery. The drama serves as a full package of entertainment and the cast left us speechless with their flawless execution of their characters.
