Kim SeonHo is the boy crush that we Seonhohada today. You might be asking yourself what it means to 'Seonhohada' him. 'Seonhohada' is Kim SeonHo's fandom name which is also the romanized Korean word for 'to prefer'. It can also be used as a play on words for loving or liking Kim SeonHo, coming from the Korean word 'saranghada' ('to love' in romanized Korean).

Let's get to know our boy crush, Kim SeonHo!

If you're new to Kim SeonHo, here is some basic information about him. Kim SeonHo was born on May 8, 1986, and has been a prolific talent since he started his acting career in his early 20s.
Kim SeonHo made his acting debut in 2009 in the musical "New Boeing Boeing" and started a steady career in theater. He widened his horizons by branching into broadcast and finally made his screen acting (K-Dramas and K-Films) debut in 2017 with a role in the K-Drama "Good Manager".
When asked about his time as a stage actor, Kim SeonHo always recalls it as a time that was the most precious to him and a much-needed process in his journey. In fact, it is known that he tries his best to go back to the theater once every year.
Let's take a quick look at some of his most notable works.
His role "100 Days My Prince" (2018) as Jung JaeYoon gave viewers serious second lead syndrome as they discovered and fell for his charms.
In "Welcome To Waikiki Season 2" (2019) he played the character Cha WooShik who was hilarious and had great chemistry with the other characters.
His role in "Start-Up" (2020) as Han JiPyung made his popularity skyrocket. He even gained millions of Instagram followers as the show was airing. It was another case of second lead syndrome that endeared him to fans, too.
"Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" (2021) was yet another of his roles that K-Drama fans hold dear to their hearts. He played the role of Hong DooShik and showed off his boyfriend/husband material image through the role.
These are only a few of his iconic roles from his filmography. Check out the rest of his works, as they're all worthy of a spot on your watchlist. Also, make sure to watch his upcoming 2023 K-Drama "Hash's Shinru" (working title). Many fans are anticipating his drama return with this historical romance. It takes place during the reign of King SeJong The Great and follows the story of crown prince Lee Hyang and HaeRoo, a woman who can see into the future. It will be his second role in a historical K-Drama since "100 Days My Prince".
Another of his upcoming works that fans are particularly looking forward to is a film called "Tyrant", supposedly set to be released in 2023, alongside veteran actors Cha SeoungWon and Kim KangWoo. He has another film alongside Kim KangWoo called "The Childe" supposedly set to release this year too.

His talent doesn't end at acting, though. Kim SeonHo is one of the actors who are most talented at variety shows, as well. If it isn't for his incredible acting, Kim SeonHo has gained a huge number of fans just from his appearances on variety shows. His time on "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4" especially left a great impression on many lovers of the show. In fact, he even won Variety Rookie of the Year at the KBS Entertainment Awards for his contribution to the show.
He showed new sides of himself on the program by letting himself adventure into new areas and always putting his best foot forward for the sake of keeping the show entertaining.
It's amazing how his personality shines in the spotlight. Some may not know that when he was younger he was actually introverted and shy due to trauma. However, acting helped him overcome that and change his personality to be more extroverted.
However, he is not afraid to show his vulnerable side either and still has bouts of shyness whilst remaining ever-sweet. One of his most admirable traits is his humble attitude and how grounded he remains no matter how successful he is.

On top of his lovable personality, the power of his visuals can't be denied either. Whilst his overall looks are handsome, Kim SeonHo is renowned for what fans affectionately call 'Kim SeonHo's trademark smile'. It is the kind of smile that fills you with so much positive energy upon first glance of it. The longer you look at his dazzling smile, the more it feels like the bright energy he radiates will fix all of your problems. You could describe him as a dependable and reliable visual. He is the kind of person who radiates warmth and whom you can rely on to comfort you at the end of the day, even if it is just by looking at his picture or watching one of his shows.
To quote one of his fans,
"That smile of his is TOO MUCH!! I keep saying his dimples and smile cure my sadness (or give me a temporary serotonin boost lol)"
We have to take a separate moment to acknowledge his adorable dimples, too. They are thick and are supposedly 2.2cm long. He used to be teased for them when he was younger but now believes that they are one of his most charming points. Interestingly, these dimples were passed down to him. He has mentioned that all of the men on his mother's side of the family have dimples, too.
Kim SeonHo has said that his goal is to become an actor who is personable and that you want to see again in the next production, too. There is no doubt that he is well within that level of success as we already can't wait to see what he does next!
