A 'girl crush' is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one's admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc.

Let's get to know our girl crush, Kim GoEun!

Kim GoEun is famous as one of the top Hallyu stars in Korea and worldwide. She is an award-winning actress known for her versatility and being able to pull off a wide spectrum of roles with conviction. Her prowess as an actress is indescribable as each of her characters has a unique charm elevated by her ability to captivate an audience.
Some of the most famous works in her filmography include the films "Coin Locker Girl", "A Muse", and "Tune in for Love", to name a few.
Her drama discography also includes a lot of titles that you would find on any essential K-Drama watchlist. She has starred in the hit dramas "Cheese in the Trap", "Goblin", "The King: Eternal Monarch", and most recently "Yumi's Cells".
Her filmography is only getting better as she consistently selects excellent projects for herself. Many are awaiting the release of her upcoming dramas "Yumi's Cells 2" and "Little Women".

Kim GoEun receives praise for her acting for numerous reasons.
Firstly, she is the queen of sentiment. There is something about the way that Kim GoEun expresses herself that can stir the hearts of any audience. Be it in an emotional role where she delivers heartrending conviction, or in an upbeat role where she has everyone falling for her cute charm, her versatility is vast like an ocean that sweeps you in with an embracing wave.
Kim GoEun's conviction is not only limited to the genuine emotions she portrays but also extends to her willingness to do whatever it takes to portray her character. For her role in "Cheese in the Trap", she had to dye and perm her hair several times which caused severe damage to it, resulting in her cutting most of it off after the show.
Another example is how she gained 8kg for her role in the 2018 film "Sunset In My Hometown".
She also learned taekwondo for her role in "The King: Eternal Monarch" and did a lot of her own wire stunts when she acted in "Memories of the Sword". It is said that she even enjoys going bungee jumping to relieve stress. Kim GoEun is surely a brave and empowering public figure.
Kim GoEun's efforts to do her best in her portrayal of these very different characters are truly admirable. She is not only an inspiring actress, but her attitude is inspirational, too.
She is also multi-talented. Many may not know that Kim GoEun is a naturally talented singer. Her vocals sound like the sweetest nectar.

Another of Kim GoEun's charming points is how stunning she is. She has one of the most striking visuals in the industry. Kim GoEun's warm endearing smile and eye smile are signature parts of her beauty. Not to mention that her charming monolids add to her glowing visuals.

More than anything, one of the most admirable things about Kim GoEun is her attitude about life. She is extremely hardworking but doesn't forget the things that are important to her. When asked about her philosophy about happiness, she said that she feels the happiest when she is with her loved ones.
