Earlier this year, iKON made a return to the music scene with their album "TAKE OFF" in May. It was an immediate hit and marked the idol group's next chapter after signing with their new company, 143 Entertainment. They truly took off and started summer with a bang, appearing at the top of playlists worldwide.
However, this would also serve as one of the last times the idol group would be whole for a while, as Jay started his mandatory military service starting from July 20th KST. Although, this would not deter the group from releasing new music, as they have recently released their single 'PANORAMA' featuring all six members. The song is an immediate hit as iKONic and more cannot help but gush over it via various social media platforms.
As with most comebacks, 'PANORAMA' is accompanied by its very own music video — and as a special treat, it also comes with a drama version too! The drama version brings viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions. Here's a few scenes we cannot stop thinking about!
1. Collection Of Romantic Beginnings
'PANORAMA' sets the stage for six different stories of romance, featuring the iKON members themselves. Seeing the members with a potential love interest, laughing and exuding sweet boyfriend vibes, would make anyone's heart race. It serves as an appetizer of what's to come, making viewers expectant of a great, dramatic music video.
2. iKON DK's Rainy Breakup
Just like any drama, however, 'PANORAMA' is filled with twists and turns that breaks the hearts of all those watching. What started off happy and full of love suddenly crumbles without any warning. Although the MV shows all the members going through their own respective break ups and falling outs, DK is the one to start off. With the rain falling and his exasperated sigh, it truly feels like we're watching a drama instead of a music video.
3. Epilogue That Connects Everything Together
As the music video comes to a close, it wraps up with the phrase "The story never ends". It illustrates this perfectly, making sure to connect everything through a few choice items shown in the epilogue. Although they've experienced heartbreak, there's a new love story waiting to begin at the most opportune moment. Despite it's fun and upbeat melody, the drama version for 'PANORAMA' makes you think deeply on love and relationships as a whole.
