But luckily, most of the time, it is still a happy ending and we can ease our pain by enjoying some lovely romance.
And not only regular K-Dramas, but BL K-Dramas also make us go through a roller coaster of emotion. Some make us feel rather sad while still enjoying a passionate romance. Reasons to watch: If you are already a fan of these actors, that is a first good reason to watch. But we're here for the heartbreaking part of this drama. JunHo's first objective was to finally be able to die normally. Reasons to watch: This story includes time travel and fated love, who wouldn't like such a trope? But honestly, fate is also the reason why you will cry a river at the end of this drama. No matter how lovely the romantic relationship is, shedding some tears is unavoidable while watching "Once Again". So prepare your tissues and heart because this drama must be the saddest on this list.
Cast: Jeon ChangHa, Jin Geon, Song HanHee, Kim JeongSeok, Jung HyunJi (Christine Jung).

However, because HaYeon is YeonSeok's editor at SinBi Books, YeonSeok can’t escape HaYeon and they naturally grow closer over time.
Reasons to watch: If you've watched the K-Drama "Goblin", you already know what you're in for, and why it's worth watching. Not that the stories are identical, but here again, we have some sort of goblin, YeonSeok lived for 300 years, and only finding his first love can break his curse. But here, the sad part is mostly YeonSeok's past, when we see his memories of his past loves with whom he could never be, it is truly heartbreaking. But luckily, YeonSeok's last relationship with HaYeon is successful and full of love for you to recover.
Summary: JungWoo used to have two pets, a dog named Choco and a cat named Milk. Both passed away when he was still quite young, but somehow the three of them got reunited later, under different circumstances. Milk and Choco are now two handsome men but still insist on staying with JungWoo as they used to. This time, a different kind of love is going to fill the house.
Reasons to watch: The actors are playing so well with cat-like and dog-like personalities, and their relationships are just so lovely, you wouldn't want to miss on that. But if it seems all happy and nice, there is a sad twist plot at a point in the story, we let you discover it by yourself. And if Season 1 felt too short, or too sad for you, don't worry because Season 2 has been confirmed by the actors! While we have no official release date yet, we know that what we last saw in the drama isn't the end Of JungWoo, Choco, and Milk's story.
Summary: DongBaek is the new employee of Min Entertainment, but on his first day, he realizes he has been employed to work as the director's secretary. In a dead-end, DongBaek has no choice but to work for his director, YuDam, who strangely tries to get close to him. But if things couldn't get weirder, YuDam tells him that if he wants to live, he has to date him. When one remembers all three lives they spent together and the other has no clue, it's harder to win over one's heart.
Reasons to watch: Another fantastic story about destined love, how could we miss it? But once again, who says fate and curse also mean tragic accidents and heartbreaking scenes. And we don't know what's more painful. The past that only YuDam can remember? DongBaek's ignorance of his past with YuDam? Or when the past repeats itself, yet once again? This drama surely has a lot of emotional scenes stored for you!
Summary: Lee DaYeol dreams of becoming an archery master, he encounters Jo TaeHyun, who picks on him shamelessly. But hate slowly turns into friendship and DaYeol gets to see that TaeHyun hides his feelings because of past wounds. Follow their blooming romance that walks the line between love and hate.
Reasons To Watch: if you're a FOR X, then you shouldn't miss on YeChan and JaeHan's amazing acting in this drama to begin with. But of course, the story of the drama is the most interesting part, as it explores the thin line between love and hate, and how easy it is to go from one to another. And of course, hate, unhealed past wounds, and repressed love are the cause of very heartbreaking and sad scenes. So for a good cry, make sure to watch "A Shoulder To Cry On".
Summary: JiHyun comes from a rural town to study in the capital, but he has a hard time getting used to this new life. At university, he meets with JaeWon, a senior from the surfing club. As JiHyun joins the club, he grows closer to JaeWon, but their closeness is not welcomed by many of JaeWon's friends. As the son of a CEO, the expectations that weigh on him become an obstacle in his relationship with JiHyun. Between past trauma and present student struggles, will JiHyun and JaeWon's relationship be successful?
Reasons to watch: This drama touches upon a lot of serious issues, which already sets a specific tone for the story. And while the evolution of JiHyun and JaeWon's relationship is heartwarming and lovely at points, there are also a lot of obstacles they must face and overcome before being officially together. The past of JaeWon also comes back to haunt him, and this is enough to make you cry while watching this drama.
With all those sad dramas, you may cry not just a river but an entire ocean! But don't worry as much as there is sadness there is also love and happiness in those dramas, so make sure to fill your heart with love as well.
Make sure to let us know which of those dramas made you cry the most!

Let's get to know our crush, Lee JunYoung!
Lee JunYoung's Instagram
Lee JunYoung is, as we've stated in the title of this article, the blueprint of what a successful idol actor is. He is talented in more than one regard and a fan-favorite of many. Let's get to know our boy crush!
If you're new to Lee JunYoung, here is some basic information about him. He was born on January 22, 1997, and has had a passion for the arts from a young age. He dreamed of becoming a dancer since his elementary school days.
Many may know Lee JunYoung as an actor but he actually started out as an idol with an ever-growing spectrum of talent.
He did everything he could to achieve his dream and even started out his professional career as a backup dancer. He was a backup dancer for artists such as Ladies' Code. His passion for dancing is so deep that he once said that if he hadn't become a member of U-KISS he would still have been dancing hard.
Lee JunYoung debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2014 using the stage name 'Jun'. The group was quite successful (and still is now), especially in Japan. Lee JunYoung was famous in the group for being good at everything.
He went on to participate in the survival show "The Unit" in 2017, impressing many and helping them uncover the hidden gem that he is as an artist. He won fans and judges alike over with his charm and talents, earning himself the first place ranking and a debut spot in the final debut group UNB.
Thereafter, Lee JunYoung made his acting debut in a guest role in the 2017 drama "A Special Meal of the Weirdo 'Nara'". He was still using his stage name Jun in that drama, later switching to using his full name in his first leading role drama called "Avenger Social Club" (2017). After using both his stage name and full name for a while, he officially switched to only using his birth name in 2019.
Lee JunYoung also made his solo debut in 2019. This year proved to be yet another year where his talents flourished as he launched a solo career and had a busy acting schedule with musicals and dramas lined up.
As you can see, Lee JunYoung has had an illustrious career thanks to his multitude of talents. Let's take a look at all of his skills individually.
As a vocalist, Lee JunYoung has an alluring vocal tone. He has a low-pitched husky tone when rapping that effortlessly transforms into a crystal-clear voice when he sings.
Check out his song 'Curious About U' here.
When Lee JunYoung dances, his moves are so captivating that anyone in the vicinity would instantly stop what they're doing to give him the due attention that he deserves. His precision and strength are a pleasant sight to see among idols. You can feel the passion emitting from his body as he gives his all to the dancefloor. Don't even get us started on his facial expressions, sense of rhythm, and overall stage presence. There is not a single flaw to be found when it comes to watching Lee JunYoung perform. One of his performances is a treat to anyone who gets to watch it.
Check out this medley dance of his.
When it comes to acting, we'll let his impressive filmography speak for itself. Let's take a look at some of his most notable roles.
His role in "Class of Lies" (2019) as Yoo BeomJin wowed many as he showed what a grip he had on emotional acting. His emotions were portrayed in an authentic and believable way.
Contrary to the rave reviews that he gets for his acting in this drama, he admitted to being slightly dispirited after filming for the drama. He was dispirited by the dark nature of his character, but that only proves just how well he pulled the character off through immersion. This drama is still dubbed as one of his most dazzling roles.
His role in "Imitation" (2021) as Kwon Ryok was also well-received. He showed another side of himself as an actor by playing a jaded and ambitious idol. He made a bold and unforgettable impression.
He also shone in "Let Me Be Your Knight" (2021) as Yoon TaeIn, who was a character relatable to his career. He took guitar and piano lessons in preparation for the role, elevating himself as an artist/musician.
His role in "Love & Leashes" (2022) as Jung JiHoo showcased his duality to a tee. Lee JunYoung showed his fatally attractive side and his puppy-like side, effortlessly all at once, as well. No fan was safe as he stole their hearts without warning.
These are only a few of his dramas that you should watch. Be sure to check out the rest of the works in his filmography, too.
Through his acting, Lee JunYoung has earned himself numerous titles proclaimed by fans, such as 'the best idol actor', 'the man with endless talent', and more. He is also known for being well-immersed in whatever role he takes on, becoming the character that he portrays completely.
On top of his success as an artist and actor, in 2021, Lee JunYoung co-established his own agency called 'Jflex'.
This speaks to his character as a person, as well. He has always been determined to achieve his dreams and even despite his huge success, he still remains ambitious. He has consistently expressed his desire to develop as an actor. He has expressed that his ultimate goal is to become an actor who is pure and sincere like a child.
His personality already shows that sincerity as he is a holistically good person. He has even once helped the police catch a drunk driver, concerned about a dangerous situation escalating. This just shows how much consideration he has for others around him.
As for his visuals... Well, they need no introduction as he is renowned for his handsome looks and rugged charm. He has a bright appearance that swiftly transitions to sexy when the situation presents itself. For example, he is known for looking devilishly handsome in a suit, like a dreamy CEO.
