          LeeHi created the perfect soul and bop-filled album to compliment her euphonious vocals. The album's range is unmatched as it takes you through a spectrum of emotions from somber solitude to electrifying happiness making you dance to her songs. READ MORE

          There is no doubt that all the members poured their whole souls and talents into this masterpiece, and they created a must-listen title track, high-quality B-sides, and solo tracks imprinted with each member's unique colors.           With one of the most iconic music videos this year, complete with animation and the coolest special effects, 'Thunderous' brought us a fusion of traditional Korean music and modern mala taste that is a signature of Stray Kids.           It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that ATINY were in no way ready for what ATEEZ was bringing to the stage with 'Deja Vu'. It is not humanly possible to look this good and sound this good but somehow ATEEZ does it all with ease. READ MORE

          TXT's '0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)' featuring SEORI is the youth anthem we desperately needed, especially in 2021. The lyrics are so universally resonant and multi-layered that you can't simply call this a song because it is a whole piece of art. READ MORE

          Despite being in the MOODZ fandom for as far back as I can remember, I'm still surprised whenever WOODZ releases new music because of how different and unique it is each time.           IU is making music for people in their thirties that also somehow resonates with people in their teen years and that is nothing short of magical.           A comeback that was severely underrated in 2021 was youra's "Gaussian" with the title track 'MIMI'. It was an exquisite mini-album and youra definitely deserves much more love and attention from the world. Profile

          With a concept that I did not see coming and genres that blew my mind, ASTRO's 2nd full-length album "All Yours" is creative genius at its best. Each song has a unique charm and 'One' in particular is simply stunning, both visually and musically. READ MORE

          Golden Child's 'Burn It' is a song filled with emotions and stories fully highlighted by the members' strong vocals.           It hasn't been long since ENHYPEN debuted but they're already establishing their signature sound in the industry. 'Fever' is the perfect example of the angsty, alt-rock-inspired music that is coming to define the group and I can't wait for more. READ MORE

          LeeHi's music has an innate quality of touching the soul and leaving an impression. 'Only' is poignant with a bittersweet aftertaste and it feels as though you're swept away to a different fairy-tale world as you listen to this song. READ MORE

        • SEVENTEEN - 'GAM3 BO1'

          Hands down, one of my favourite songs this year has been SEVENTEEN's 'GAM3 BO1'. The extraordinary way in which the group incorporates elements of glitch-hop, 8-bit music, and several other influences in this song is masterful, to say the least, and it's not getting out of my head anytime soon.         • TXT - 'Anti-Romantic'

          Another TXT classic that is simply unforgettable, 'Anti-Romantic' sounds like how breaking up with one's first love must feel like and that is not an easy feat to achieve. In addition, every single member shines in this song which makes it all the more charming. READ MORE

        • NCT - 'Lemonade'

          A B-Side that debatably could have been the title track, 'Lemonade' is groovy and addictive in the best way possible. NCT went full-blown experimental with this album and it has shown their growth, which definitely deserves high praise. READ MORE

        • SF9 - 'On And On'

          SF9 had some of the most incredible releases this year but if I absolutely had to choose, 'On And On' by InSeong and YoungBin would be my undisputed favourite. With lyrics that hit different if you are a FANTASY, this song definitely holds a special place in my heart. READ MORE

        • WINNER's MINO - 'LANGUAGE' ft. iKON's Bobby

          MINO came in at the dawn of December to bring us a MOBB reunion and we could not have been more thankful for this early Christmas present. 'Language' is reminiscent of MOBB's hyper-energetic and powerful style and coupled with the rightfully aggressive lyrics, it is simply perfect. READ MORE

        • (G)I-DLE's SoYeon - 'Is This Bad B****** Number?' ft. BIBI, Lee YoungJi

          SoYeon, BIBI, Lee YoungJi in one track equals iconic and that's just facts. This is the sing-rap trio that has the power to take over the world and needless to say, the vibes are unbeatable. READ MORE

          This song sounds nostalgic even if you listen to it for the first time because of the relatable story of an abandoned childhood toy that you once cherished. The song feels full, familiar, and comforting despite the somewhat hollow and echo-filled beat, making it a complex piece of art. READ MORE

        • GWSN - 'the Aerialist (Wonderboy)'

          This jazzy song indeed proves GWSN's nickname as the queens of the B-Side. The dynamic sound and catchy chorus filled with the members' smooth lyrics are a treat to the ear. READ MORE

SeungSik's vocal and HanSe's rap make the song stand out even more with their spotlight on the meaningful lyrics "Dreams are not forever // Time won't wait" and "Full of the enemies around me // So I've gotta runaway which way dat way".           HanSe entered the K-Pop soloist world with guns blazing (all puns intended) and needless to say, he set the stage on fire. A pleasant and progressive surprise in this regard was the music video for "Take Over' that featured drag artists in all their glory. READ MORE

          BM delivered on his highly anticipated solo debut with the classiest song about the darker side of his psyche. Being a project that was almost entirely planned and brought to life by BM and his amazing team over at 8PEX Company, 'Broken Me' was even more special and surprising than we could have imagined it to be.           BLITZERS' unique focal point in their 'Will Make a Mistake' choreography proved just how surprisingly detailed their comeback was.           Each ATEEZ stage on "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR" was better than the one before it and it kept getting better and better so it is only fair to put their final stage on this list.
