7 Songs By BTS’s Suga That You Need To Hear

        HYBE Labels

        1. 'Agust D'

We have to start off strong and include the title track to his debut mixtape "Agust D"! 'Agust D' really gave fans a true taste of Suga's pride in BTS and himself. With his impressive play on words and fast-paced rapping, Suga talks about his global status and fully introduces us to his alias, Agust D. This song is a perfect beginner to his solo works as it was his title track for his first mixtape and perfectly embodies Suga's artistic essence.

        2. 'So Far Away' feat SuRan

Have you ever felt like you're hopeless and not sure where your life is headed? Then, 'So Far Away' is a song you are able to deeply connect with. 'So Far Away' discusses Suga's view on how it seems like everyone is growing in life but for some reason he is ridden with this feeling of being stuck. This song is not so much motivational but it does offer listeners a sort of comforting feeling. It gives people solace to know they are not the only ones with these feelings and can empathize with Suga as he shares his struggles with the world.

        3. 'People'

As one of Suga's personal favorites from his mixtape "D-2", we had to include 'People' onto this list! BTS's Suga always manages to connect with people on a personal level and the title of the song shows this. He talks about how just like himself, many people in his life also change every day. His melancholic way of singing and rapping in the song lets us tap into his inner feelings, a feeling of how no matter one's status people will always change. This song is very interpersonal and continues to show us a bit of Suga's thoughts and worries.

        4. 'Seesaw'

'Seesaw' was Suga's solo track on the album "Love Yourself: Answer" and it shocked fans to the core! Not only did we receive vocals from the rapper but he also paired it with a dance performance! The song details a relationship that is almost like a seesaw, going up and down but never stopping. Suga's beautiful metaphors, lullaby-sounding vocals, and jazzy instrumental make this a perfect song to listen to when you want something slower from his discography.

        5. 'First Love'

'First Love' is BTS's Suga's solo from the group's 'Wings' album. Just like the title, the song talks about his first true love, the piano he played in his childhood. Fans of BTS usually know about Suga's history with his piano skills. This song talks about his love for the piano and music. Even if he has not been as dedicated to playing the piano nowadays, it still holds precious memories for him and all the joyous times he had during his childhood. Even if he tries to forget it or moves on in life, he always comes back. This song is relatable as there are many times we end up finding our way back to memories and joys from the past.

        6. 'Adult Child'

If you're a long-time BTS fan, you will remember this older cover from Suga with his fellow members, BTS's RM and Jin. The song is sampled from American artist Common's song 'Celebrate'. Suga's verse looks into his views about society and the education system, talking about how school and work seem to never end, even when you've graduated from high school. Many young adults can sympathize and understand the message he shares with this song.

        7. 'Give It To Me'

While many of the songs on this list were serious and somber, 'Give It To Me' really shows you all of his swagger and cockiness. 'Give It To Me' talks about his view on the idol world and how he desires more. Whether it's more fame, honor, or money, Suga makes it known that he will get it. If you need a personal hype anthem to give you that extra push, 'Give It To Me' is the song for you!
