At the end of popular survival show "Produce X 101", the eleven finalists -Han SeungWoo, Cho SeungYoun, Kim WooSeok, Kim YoHan, Lee HanGyul, Cha JunHo, Son DongPyo, Kang MinHee, Lee EunSang, Song HyeongJun, Nam DoHyon– formed the group X1. In Korea and overseas, ONE IT have been eagerly waiting for their debut!

The group finally debuted with their first mini-album “비상: QUANTUM LEAP" on Aug. 27, 6 pm.

The album is composed of seven tracks. The title track is 'FLASH'. The album has three other new songs titled 'Stand Up', 'Like Always' and 'I'm Here for You'. Addicted viewers of "Produce X 101" had been waiting for the new versions of 'U GOT IT', 'MOVE' and 'X1-MA'.

On the day of the release of their album, the group held a press conference and held their first show-con at the Gocheok Sky Dome with around 17,000 fans.

X1 introduced themselves with their signature greeting "Fly high X1" and each member introduced themselves. The interview section started with Han SeungWoo mentioning that they "have practiced a lot for the album and the show-con".

Do you realize the popularity and interest for X1?

Song HyeongJun: "Because I didn't know that I would receive so much attention and love, it is hard to realize. With the rehearsal, I think I am realizing little by little."

How do you feel today?

Cho SeungYoun: "We have practice a lot for the album and show-con. It was hard to realize but having the rehearsal and coming today, it gets me very excited and the reality hits me."

Can you introduce some songs from the album?

Cho SeungYoun: "The 1st song of the album 'Stand Up' is an emotional song with all the members singing."

Kim YoHan: "I recommend 'Like Always'. It is a song to comfort fans. While listening to the song, I hope you smile."

Son DongPyo: "'I'm Here for You'. It is good to hear when you feel down and tired."

Han SeungWoo: "The album is composed of various songs and I think it is interesting to listen to the album. Please love the title track 'FLASH' that has a powerful performance."

Is there any episode during the preparation you want to share?

Cho SeungYoun: "It was my birthday on the 1st day of the MV filming. We celebrated before so I was not expecting anything on that day. On that day, HanGyul played a trick on me for my birthday. It was a surprise birthday event. I loved it."

What does X1 want to show at the show-con?

Lee EunSang: "I want to show that we have 11 new images and that X1 becomes one on the stage."

Is there any Wanna One member that gave you advice?

Lee EunSang: "AB6IX's DaeHwi gave us a lot of advice when filming on "Produce X 101"."

Among the X1 members, there are four of you who are re-debuting. How are these members feeling?

Cho SeungYoun: "I was active as a solo artist last year before meeting these nice 10 friends and debut as a X1 member. While preparing, there was a lot of good things. I thought about the past a lot. I am happy to be able to stand on such a big stage."

Kim WooSeok: "It is nice to live with the X1 members. Thank you because there are many good points and many happy moments. Thank you to all the members and everyone."

Han SeungWoo: "I feel sad but I also feel very happy to meet my X1 friends. I hope that VICTON and X1 do well and can meet in a good place."

In X1, some members are known for production and composition skills. None participate for this album but are there chances that they will participate in the future?

Cho SeungYoun: "We did not have much time to prepare for this album so instead of making any contribution to the album's work. I think we said that we would like to have a song with these kinds of feelings. We conveyed the message we wanted to tell fans."

Reporters asked about the timing of the debut which is in the middle of the allegations of vote-rigging.

Han SeungWoo: "We were busy with our practice and schedule so we didn't hear much about it. We want to show you the best. Instead of feeling pressured, I feel that we need to pay back to fans. We prepared a lot for fans who love us so that reduce these."

What will you do if you win the first place?

Kim YoHan: "If we win 1st, we will perform 'FLASH' cutely with the apple hair."

X1 members debuted successfully. In around 17 hours, their debut MV has already reached more than 5,300,000 views proving X1 worldwide incredible popularity.
