EPEX Releases Sixth EP "Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2: Can We Surrender?"

EPEX is back with their sixth EP, titled "Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2: Can We Surrender?" This EP marks the final chapter of their Bipolar album series, which began with their debut in 2021. While "Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2: Can We Surrender?" delves into the dark and unsettling realities faced by young boys when they reach their limits, it also wraps up the emotions of adolescent anxiety and first love that were explored in the earlier "Prelude of Anxiety" and "Prelude of Love" series.

The EP consists of four new songs, all composed and arranged by KZ, who has been a consistent collaborator with EPEX throughout their careers. The title track, 'Full Metal Jacket', showcases the group's artistic range and serves as a metaphor for the dangers of violence and the loss of humanity.

'Surrender' addresses putting an end to oppression through its groovy electronic bass and powerful drums. 'Hit the Wall' is an EDM track infused with hip-hop, exploring the efforts young individuals make to set their own standards while facing challenges head-on. The final song, 'No Roof', boasts a funky bass and synth sound, encouraging listeners to believe in themselves, regardless of obstacles.

This is why it's such a big deal when a group decides to release a full-length album.

To the excitement of ZENITH worldwide, EPEX makes their return to the music stage with their very first full-length album, "Youth Chapter 1: YOUTH DAYS". Not only is it making a buzz among fans, but even non-fans are tuning in, celebrating the boy group's momentous milestone. After a series of beloved singles and EPs, the C9 Entertainment boy group is embarking on a new chapter in their career, bringing their supportive fans along on the ride. While they've still managed to retain their core, boyish charms, EPEX return with newfound maturity both as individuals and as artists.

One interesting tidbit about the idol group is that "Youth Chapter 1: YOUTH DAYS" marks the first release with all members as full-fledged adults. While one's youth can often be seen as a carefree, joyous period of life, even the most bright-eyed individuals hold a well-guarded secret in their heart.

From hidden pain, lost love, and even familial issues, there's no going around that even a sunshine-like youth has their fair share of secrets. With such a meaningful and interesting keyword, fans can look forward to the idol group's future releases and how they will continue to evolve as artists moving forward. It was revealed that the second album in the series will focus on 'choice', with the third being a well-guarded secret. It seems EPEX have it all planned out and we can't wait to hear it.

For now, it seems appropriate to have EPEX's 1st full-length album on constant loop.
