Welcome to the fifty-seventh article of Kpopmap's weekly series "Girl Crush"!
This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material.
A 'girl crush' is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one's admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc.

Let's get to know our girl crush, Lee SeYoung!

Lee SeYoung is one of the Hallyu stars known as a queen of acting and beauty. Each time she appears in a K-Drama, fans are put to the test to see if they will fall for her even more and they always do. She has a grip on international Hallyu fans that is remarkable.
Having started acting as a child star, she is an actress who many have watched grow up on the screen.
In more recent years, she has had a number of iconic roles, too. Let's take a trip down memory lane and look at some of them.
Her roles in the dramas "A Korean Odyssey" (2017), "The Crowned Clown" (2019), and "Doctor John" (2019) are just some of the fan-favorite characters she has played.
Roles such as her role in "Memorist" (2020) showed off her passion for acting and ability to give color to her character in a charming way.
"The Red Sleeve" (2021) showed us her authenticity in delivery. Her riveting and award-winning performance even earned her the nickname 'The Goddess of Historical Dramas'.
These are only a few of her works in a long filmography that you should make sure to check out.
Her current drama character in "The Law Cafe" (2022) is also receiving a world of praise for being so loveable.
Lee SeYoung will have you melting into her acting with her genuine delivery and captivating character portrayals.
One of the reasons behind her stellar acting skill is her attitude. Lee SeYoung compares her acting approach to an athlete's approach to sports. In the same way that athletes try to break their own records instead of worrying about competitors, she uses the same philosophy to focus on herself and be better than she was the day before. This is how she plans to achieve her goal of acting for a long time.
Lee SeYoung is a huge source of inspiration for many of us and her mindset proves that she is an amazing role model.
Her personality is just as sweet as her intentions. Lee SeYoung is known for being pure, easy-going, down-to-earth, and well-mannered. Her heart is as pretty as her doll-like appearance.
