Is the act of Queerbaiting becoming more prevalent in K-Dramas? Here is our take on this.

First of all, we would like to note that these views are subjective and in no way tries to demean the value of the dramas mentioned here.

It seems like Queerbaiting or the teasing of a romantic relationship between characters of the same gender is becoming a trope in K-Dramas these days. While in its ordinary sense, the introduction of an actual queer character(s) is a very welcomed idea, the fact that in many dramas, there is a play of teasing a "coupling" of two straight actors in the guise of being funny or cute is definitely not.
