When K-Pop idols of opposite sex come together for a performance, fans become slightly more sensitive especially if it involves light touching in a choreography.
Recently, it has gotten the attention of Red Velvet and Super Junior fans when they noticed how Irene and LeeTeuk were doing a dance for 'Lo Siento' during SMTOWN concert in Chile.
Some of Red Velvet fans believed that LeeTeuk had placed his hands lower than where it was supposed to be. According to this short clip, it seemed as if Irene was uncomfortable and also trying to get his hand up higher than where he had placed.

While some might be demanding an explanation for Irene, some fans are also defending LeeTeuk for this case.
They mentioned that LeeTeuk was purely doing the choreography and compared to other versions which he had done, there was a visible gap between him and Irene.
This is so stupid, How on earth is this wrong? There was barely a touch. #ApologizeToLeeteuk #ELFsupportLEETEUK

Take a look for yourself during the stage when he performed with K.A.R.D's JiWoo and singer Leslie Grace.
Some felt that Red Velvet's fans are overreacting whereas some were also reminded of several controversies LeeTeuk might have had with female celebrities. They went as far as compiling and spreading them online.
Both fandoms began to demand apologies from each other and even started to trend #ApologizeToLeeteuk, #레베럽_사과해 (Reveluv Apologize) and also #이특_사과해 (LeeTeuk Apologize) hashtags on Twitter.
