For those who have been watching survival programs of Mnet such as “Produce 101” and “Idol School”, you might recall female trainee, Lee HaeIn. She is one of the well loved trainees by many on the show and many found it a pity that she was eliminated especially on “Idol School”.

With that current situation of the controversy of “Produce X 101”, her father had decided to upload a long post, conveying the message he had wanted to do for a long time.

He shared about how the broadcasting station had made Lee HaeIn signed a contract prior on appearing on the show. Even after she was eliminated it was said that she had received love calls from other companies but decided to wait due to the debut promise offered by the broadcasting station and other participants who were eliminated too. It was said that she was supposed to debut later in October.

However, during the long wait, her father noticed the lack of response and communication from the company and the poor treatment to those trainees who were promised with a debut. Needless to say, the debut did not happen and Lee HaeIn was revealed to have only finally terminated her contract earlier in summer this year.

Because of the amount of time wasted, he felt wronged for his daughter and noticed how much she had suffered during this entire period especially with the unfulfilled promise.

#9 X1 to continue schedules as usual

With the amount of news breaking out, it was reported that Swing Entertaiment had mentioned that X1 will continue their schedule as per normal. X1 was noted to have done a pre-recording for their appearance on JTBC “Runway” on Oct. 2.

Although it is unsure what is going to happen next, there are various comments about the current situation on many online communities coming from fans as well as netizens.

Hopefully, everything would be settled and more official releases will be updated soon.

I agree that x1 members has nothing to do with the rigging. Just let them be. They already debuted. I heard that it’s not the first time that this happened. I think MNET has a reason why they did it. Probably, they saw that these 11 boys fit to the image of x1 that they want to launch. The other members of BY9 had moved forward already. I think they haven’t become part of x1 for some reasons like: a BY9 trainee has the same characteristic of the other members of x1, another BY9 trainee, although popular, is not on… Read more »

I think this incident won’t cause any change to x1. Except the netizen’s views on them
Because, first of all, the contract has been signed and they’d tied for the next 5 years regardless of the scandal of member votes.
We can only hope that this incident can make some changes in the next season of pd 101 🙂

Let’s think again what will happened if we know which member who should debut and who shouldn’t. How the “not supposed to be” members feel about himself? And how can they handled bad comment from netizens? If they leave X1, can they still continue their career as an idol? I know there will be so many people trowing hate to them even they didn’t know anything about this rigged thing. They don’t deserve this After that, how “supposed to be” members do after knowing they are being cheated? And if they can continue debut with X1, will they feel happy… Read more »

this is so sad, what’s with happening with those people’s mind. with the way they comment, haven’t they seen the show? haven’t they watched how everyone of them did their very best to show what they can do? let’s say it’s rigged, did the kids do the rigging? no, they’re practicing day and night, almost without sleep as you can see with their faces. and if you pursue by9, what will happen with yuvin & kookheon(sorry if mispelled), yunseong & the other woollim boys, minkyu and his booming modelling career? it’s easy to see what others did wrong but not… Read more »

and I doubt it that those kids or their parents are the ones who have the power to pay off a network to rig a competition in their favor. The ones who should bear the brunt of the consequences here are Mnet and the members’ parent agencies who participated in the rigging (if it gets proven that their parent agencies had participated in the rigging, too). I am also concerned how this mess will affect X1 and BY9. This will surely be traumatic for both groups. By9 will be affected emotionally, too, to learn how they had been cheated. IMO,… Read more »

I love Minkyu and some members in By9 and I initially felt sad that Minkyu and some of my BY9 favorites weren’t able to make it. But at this point, I would rather have Kim Minkyu pursue his modelling career and try acting later on. I mean, he is doing jobs with an INTERNATIONAL brand (Guess) and INTERNATIONAL Fashion magazines (Nylon and Grazia). With his work ethic and features, he will be booked for even bigger international modeling jobs if he stays on that path. If he indeed gets signed for a boy group, he will have to stop his… Read more »

Yeah , it was confirmed that 2 or 3 members were changed but X1 already debuted and the other trainees have moved on like Minkyu ( Modeling for brands ), Tony ( frequently updates his Instagram page and do Vlives ) , Yuvin ( duet with Kookheon ) , Jinhyuk ( Solo debut to arrive ) , Sejin ( fanmeeting ) ,Jungmo and Wonjin ( training for StarShip new boygroup ), Yunseong ( relased music with the other Woolim trainees through a project ). Donghyun is the only one i haven’t heard much about . And they all are really… Read more »
