Over the last six years as a group, PENTAGON have made a name for themselves as a group that can easily pull off diverse concepts. Their discography has covered a wide range of concepts that have brought fresh new music and performances with each comeback.

Part of what makes each performance striking and memorable are the outfits that are worn by the members. They are an important aspect of crafting a performance for without the perfect outfit that embodies the concept of a song, the life of the stage fails to materialise.

Amongst their many comebacks, these are PENTAGON’s most impressive stage outfits that fans would want to see again.

         1. ‘Like This’

The outfit for PENTAGON’s ‘Like This’ comeback stage on “M COUNTDOWN” on Sep. 9, 2017 centred around effortless masculinity and confidence. The group’s look was kept very similar with clean cuts, a monochromatic neutral palette and classic patterns. Accessories were kept minimal with only some silver jewellery and silver chains adorning the clean and classic yet modern look.

        2. ‘Shine’

For this “M COUNTDOWN” performance of their most iconic song on May 3, 2018, PENTAGON’s outfits were coordinated to create a cohesive look. An eye-catching shade of red was the dominant colour and the overall vibes of the outfits were dorkiness and youthfulness. They featured clothes with relaxed fits. Preppy collared shirts, casual tops, sneakers were worn. The outfits were accessorised with short neck ties and various headwear. JinHo even wore a backpack and former member E’Dawn had a mini keyboard strapped across his back.

        3. 'Naughty Boy'

‘Naughty Boy’ is a song emblematic of a rebellious spirit and confidence in following your own beliefs. To express this, the key point of the outfits on Sep. 13, 2018 were the mismatched colours, patterns, shoes and pant lengths. For example, JinHo’s pants were short and solid green on one side but long and checkered on the other side. The front of YeoOne’s shirt was solid light blue but the back was navy blue with thin white stripes. His socks were also mismatched with only one side having stripes. The consistent use of bright colours and bold patterns also lit up the stage.

        4. ‘SHA LA LA’

PENTAGON’s Mar. 28, 2019 performance of ‘SHA LA LA’ perfectly reflected the party vibes of the song with its outfits. Without being too colourful, they were vivid and fun. Common elements included both coloured and embellished denim, trendy patches and flamboyant prints. Hui’s printed jacket and tie are a good example of how these elements were incorporated to deliver the energy of having fun and letting loose to the audience.

        5. ‘Spring Snow’

What could have been more perfect for a song like ‘Spring Snow’ than the pink outfits worn by PENTAGON on Music Bank on Apr. 19, 2019? The members pulled off a sweet and dandy look that are exactly the type of outfits anyone can easily wear themselves when making the most of the blooming spring weather. 6. 'Dr. BeBe'

For a change of pace, the Feb. 13, 2020 outfits for ‘Dr. BeBe’ brought dark energy to the stage that embodied the song’s turbulent story of love. The all-black styling was elevated with leather and other strong textures. There were also several accent points such as the holes in WooSeok’s jacket, the lace-up detail on Hui’s jacket and the striking gold embellishment all over YeoOne’s blazer. Fans also clearly remember HongSeok’s backless jacket that flaunted his toned body.

        7. 'Follow'

PENTAGON performed a cover of MONSTA X’s ‘Follow’ on “Road to Kingdom” in 2020. They made the song their own with a powerful and masculine Egyptian pharaoh theme. There were many alluring aspects amongst the members’ ensembles. The black and gold motif incorporated shiny embellishments. It was topped with accessories worn on the neck, hands and waist. Raw masculine energy further exuded through Yuto, YeoOne and HongSeok’s revealing outfits.

        8. 'Daisy'

On Oct. 15, 2020, PENTAGON highlighted the melodrama and sentimentality of ‘Daisy’ with their dreamy and romantic fashion. Simple suits were enhanced by a pleasant palette of black, white, grey and purplish grey. Most of the clothing was solid colour. The only patterns used were subtle, thin stripes. Yuto and WooSeok also wore a sash that went around the body to create a classy yet floaty impression. Accessories were kept minimal. Each outfit had only one accent point, whether it be a belt, brooch or sash.

        9. 'Do Or Not'

PENTAGON’s Mar. 18, 2021 performance of ‘Do Or Not’ brought an air of fun and youthfulness to the stage. The outfits went really well with the ‘comic book main character (만찢남)’ concept. Bright colours of green, red and yellow and fun patterns of stars, stripes and florals added to the charismatic concept. Most noticeable were ShinWon’s long, stripy green cardigan and Kino’s star-patterned cardigan. Adorable accessories like the flowers and pearl clips on Yanan’s outfit were also used to portray the members as the dreamy male lead character.
