The K-Drama world is always filled to the brim with a wide variety of series for us to choose from. There are multiple dramas that air per day, keeping our schedules filled with many hours of entertainment and fun. Recently, a brand new weekend drama has entered the mix called "The Real Has Come!". The KBS drama features Baek JinHee, Ahn JaeHyun, Cha JooYoung, and Jung EuiJae.
"The Real Has Come!" depicts the story of Oh YeonDoo (Baek JinHee), a Korean language instructor, and Gong TaeKyung (Ahn JaeHyun), a talented obstetrician and gynecologist from a prestigious family. The two come together to form a fake contractual relationship in order to happily live out their own lives. However, it's not as simple as they think, as they face various obstacles from their family and ex-lovers, among other things.
With just two episodes out so far, "The Real Has Come!" is proving to be quite entertaining and a worthwhile watch! But don't just take our word for it.
Check out some of the reasons why you should start this drama down below!
1. Quirky And Close-Knit Family
Oh YeonDoo's family might seem ordinary on the outside, but they've already shown to have some unique characteristics and quirks. Every family member radiates with a vibrant personality that makes you curious and want to tune in for more of the drama. They also show a particular closeness with each other, showing promise for various heartwarming scenes in the future.
2. Chemistry Between Leads
From teaser videos, Oh YeonDoo and Gong TaeKyung are shown to have quite the push and pull relationship. Although they conspire together to form a fake relationship, they show that it will certainly take some time before they're on the same page. This produces excitement from fans on how their story will develop. Looking at behind the scene videos, Baek JinHee and Ahn JaeHyun already show sweet and lovely chemistry, making expectations for the "The Real Has Come!" higher than ever.
3. Cha JooYoung's Versatile Charms
KBS' Instagram
It hasn't been too long since Cha JooYoung's riveting portrayal of the provocative Choi HyeJeong on Netflix's "The Glory". While many might still be familiar with the actress in that role, she makes a shocking change in "The Real Has Come!". She shows a much more subdued and careful Jang SeJin. However, there are hints of the brash and unpredictable Choi HyeJeong that the world vividly remembers. This is but another testament to Cha JooYoung's magnificent acting skills and a reason you should add "The Real Has Come!" onto your watchlist.
4. Long Form Drama
KBS' Instagram
Many K-Drama fans might be familiar with the 16-20 episode format that has become the expected norm. However, with "The Real Has Come!" being a weekend drama, fans and prospective viewers can expect up to 50 episodes of the charming drama. It can be a source of weekend entertainment for many weeks to come. The first two episodes already grab your attention with its surprising plot and likeable characters. It would be a complete shame to miss out on the birth of another heartwarming memorable K-Drama.

It is always hard to make a good drama watchlist. Hopefully, the following list will help you! It is composed of romantic comedies which received less attention (when they were released) from the international audience despite having great plots and skilled actors. They are "underrated" dramas.

Why watch?: Starting with the main actors' outstanding acting skills and the original plot of an adult entering high school again, it is a must-see. Overall, the show has humor, cute scenes, touching stories, a solid issue to be overcome, and a critique of the Korean education system. The drama is based on revenge, but it is actually more light, don't expect much on that side.
