8 ONEUS Dance Cover You Shouldn't Miss Out

        RBW

After their debut in 2019, ONEUS have only been growing as a group, becoming better each day. And especially after their participation in the survival show "ROAD TO KINGDOM", they improved more than ever before. Their experience there was tough, but it taught them a lot about stage presence, the importance of facial expressions, and creativity in terms of concept-making. So, since then, ONEUS have been doing many original stages, but they also did a lot of cover stages, both vocal and dance.

As time passed by, ONEUS have proved themselves to be great dancers, and their dance covers are the proof. You might have already come across their dance practice or some other of their original contents, but their dance covers are also not to be missed. And if you've already seen them before, here is a great occasion to rewatch them! So let's take a look at 8 dance covers made by ONEUS that you shouldn't miss out

Note: this is not a ranking

        1. ONEUS - 'Thriller' (original by Michael Jackson)

Of course, this cover isn't only a dance cover as they also covered the vocal part of the song, but the original song has its iconic dance that ONEUS also covered, so it deserves its spot here. And if ONEUS did respect the core of the original dance, they did add new moves and made this song theirs, at least for this cover. ONEUS really honored the song by working hard on their cover of it. Because the group first covered the song during their appearance on "Immortal Song 2", for the Michael Jackson special episode, but they later released this Performance version of their cover, showing just how hardworking they are.

        2. ONEUS - DANCE MONKEY stage break

This stage break was released before ONEUS participated in "ROAD TO KINGDOM", but it is so good that we can't exclude it. This dance cover is proof that ONEUS have been extremely talented since their early days. This cover combines two versions of the song 'Tones and I', the original and a more upbeat remix, which allowed them more creativity for the dance cover. Combined with the creation of the dance, ONEUS also came up with an unpredictable horror concept for the remix part of the song, giving two opposite atmospheres to this single dance cover.

        3. ONEUS - Billie Eilish, BTS, SEVENTEEN stage break

ONEUS have been doing a lot of stage breaks, which shows that they are indeed stage geniuses. Here is another mashup that oneus nailed, it includes 'Burry a Friend' by Billie Eilish, 'Black Swan' by BTS, and 'Fear' by SEVENTEEN. If the association of those three songs doesn't seem obvious, just take a look at how ONEUS smoothly went from one dance cover to another. While all the songs have different ambiances, they go well together in a single dance cover video.

4, ONEUS - 'Make a Wish' (original by NCT U), 'Bad' (original by Christopher) stage break

Once again, ONEUS mixed Pop and K-Pop songs into a single dance cover. The concepts and atmosphere of each song are very distinct from one another creating a real contrast between the two stages. Both are very sexy and cool but in different ways, only ONEUS can serve this type of duality. and in the dance cover of 'Bad' ONEUS make use of props once again, taking their stage presence and creativity to another level. It is no wonder those are called stage breaks because ONEUS do break the stage with their one-of-a-kind covers.

        5. ONEUS - The man, the legend stage break

That stage break got fans to go crazy over both ONEUS visuals and dance skills. Because this stage break took inspiration from the iconic movie "Top Gun", ONEUS got those aviators looks for the stage break, and we have to admit it, they looked incredibly handsome. But the look only is not what made this dance cover so good, of course, ONEUS performance stays the greatest part. The cover included three songs in total: 'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins, 'I ain't worried' by OneRepublic, and 'Soldiers' by OTHERWISE. Each has the same concept this time as it is all about aviation, but they still serve different vibes.

        6. ONEUS - Conan Gray, Tinashe stage break

If ONEUS aren't the Kings of stages, they're for sure the Kings of stage breaks! They did so many already, but we still hope that more are coming, because we can never get enough of such talents. For this other stage break, ONEUS covered 'Maniac' by Conan Gray, a very popular song among the young generations, and they didn't disappoint. With their pure white outfits, dancing under the sun, it's such a pretty sight! But ONEUS stage breaks never contain one song only, the second song they covered was 'All Hands on Deck' by Tinashe, though it was a remix version of it. For this second half of the cover, ONEUS made use of a mirror to duplicate the number of people dancing and giving a more impressive impact, and that was such a smart move.

        7. ONEUS' SeoHo, LeeDo, HwanWoong - 'A Palé' (original by ROSALÍA), 'Castle' (original by Halsey), 'Unholy' (original by Sam Smith)

Last but not least ONEUS stage break, this cover combined three songs with completely different melodies and universes, yet ONEUS put it all in one concept by focusing on the dance more than anything else. While it may have been seen as a controversial concept, especially for the last song, let's simply appreciate the artistic beauty of ONEUS members' dance. Because they did an amazing work coming up with incredible dances for this stage break, it would be a shame to miss out on that just because of the unfitted concept. Above all the members visuals were on point, all three members went viral among the fans due to this cover.

        8. ONEUS' HwanWoong - 'Criminal' (original by Shinee's TaeMin)

As ONEUS' main dancer, HwanWoong has proved more than once how much of a dance genius he is, and this cover is only one of multiple examples. Many people knows how hard TaeMin's dances are, and that is why not many idols dare to cover his songs. But HwanWoong took the challenge and succeeded perfectly. He put all the energy and expression at the right moments, making his cover just right. HwanWoong was praised many times for this cover, and even if he did some other solo covers after this one, we still hope to see more in the future.

ONES did other small dance covers during their concerts or Vlive/Weverse Live, so if you liked the covers presented here, remember to look for their other non-official covers.
