P1Harmony is one of the most innovative, globally appealing, and multitalented K-Pop groups of recent times. The boys are currently on tour ("P1USTAGE H : P1ONEER") and have recently concluded the Asia, Australia, and New Zealand legs of the same. Before setting off on their Europe tour, starting today, November 9, P1Harmony made a stop in London for the highly-anticipated "KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON" event. Kpopmap had the incredible opportunity to speak to the incredible P1Harmony members ahead of this schedule, and we thank them for taking the time to do so. Just like on stage, P1Harmony's energy and excitement during this interview were contagious, to say the least.

For those who might not know, P1Harmony is a 6-member boy group under FNC Entertainment. The members are KeeHo, Theo, JiUng, InTak, Soul and JongSeob. The group debuted on October 28, 2020, and recently celebrated their 3-year anniversary. P1Harmony is highly acclaimed for their unique concepts, distinct style, and creative boldness, but even more so for being self-produced artists.

Earlier this year, P1Harmony's 6th mini-album, "HARMONY : ALL IN", became their first-ever album to debut on the Billboard 200 record chart and also received a platinum certification from Circle Chart for selling 250,000 copies. Most recently, P1Harmony released their digital single 'Fall In Love Again (Prod. by C. “Tricky” Stewart & Believve)' today.

Clearly, a new era for P1Harmony is here, and we could not be more excited. So, without further ado, let's get into our interview!

Hello! This is KeeHo from P1Harmony! Thank you so much for the all the love from all over the world this year. We believe we have gotten so much love thanks to our on-going tour so it's truly hard to pin-point one stop to say.. however, I'm going to say Toronto just because it's my hometown and so many of my friends and family were there!

Hi, this is Theo, and I am the vocalist from P1Harmony. The most memorable show for me on this tour was in Melbourne. I remember the posts with the fire decors, and with that, a lot of people came in and completely heated up the show.

Hello, this is JiUng from P1Harmony. There are a lot of moments that I remember, but there was this one time the sounds cut off during our performance of 'Nemonade'. I remember making eye contact with Theo and then we all started performing the song live without any background music. It was a technical error, but it gave us a great memory and a precious time that we could show ourselves having fun live in front of our P1ece.

Hi, this is InTak of P1Harmony and I rap and dance. I always mention this - it was when we performed the finale with 'Do It Like This', and there was this one fan that was in the front row that danced along with us like a mirror, and it was awesome to see the passion from that fan. That was the most memorable moment for me!

Hi, I am Soul of P1Harmony. Sydney is the most memorable show for me! I had to sit down and perform because my legs were uncomfortable, but all of our P1ece were jumping with us and having a great time, so that was very touching.

Hello, this is JongSeob from P1Harmony. It’s nice to meet you. The most memorable moment is when we all jump and sing the song 'Follow Me' every show. It’s beautiful how all of those many people enjoy the show with us like that.

By the time of this interview, you would have concluded the Asia, Australia, and New Zealand legs of your 2023 “P1ustage H: P1ONEER” tour. You’re traveling the world with your music, bringing joy to innumerable fans. What brings you the most joy about touring?

I think it’s the best feeling realizing that there are P1ece all around the world, and we get to meet them and enjoy the performance together.

Did you discover any new habits in your fellow members during this tour? Similarly, did you learn anything new and unexpected about your own selves while touring?

I realized that KeeHo can tear up during this tour. He always said they he never cries, but once I saw him tear up that surprised me a lot.

Which song on your setlist feels the most like “my time to shine” for each member?

I would probably say, 'End It' for me! I have these crazy high notes at the end of the song and I think it really highlights my vocal ability.
KeeHo
I think it’s 'Look At Me Now', which is the opening song. Since it is the opening song I put in a lot of effort and added in vocal adlibs that are not there in the original track.
Theo
I would say 'Follow Me'. I love the energetic connection between our audience, and that song enables that moment the most and I feel confident when that song starts playing.
JiUng
I personally think it is 'Back Down'.

'Scared'. I think my solo dance performance is the killing point.
Soul
The opening song 'Look At Me Now' is definitely my time to shine.

What’s the most unusual item to bring with you on tour that fans might find surprising?

I don’t think you’d be surprised but I always take my Nintendo Switch and tablet PC everywhere!

Before setting off on the Europe leg of your 2023 “P1ustage H: P1ONEER” tour, you’re making a stop in London for the “KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON” concert. Fans are excited about P1Harmony bringing their characteristic high energy and power-packed performances to this grand celebration. What are your hopes from the crowd?

We always hope the crowd is attentive and energetic throughout the whole performance! We are there to celebrate Korean culture and represent it so we hope the crowd is that much more eager to see us and have fun with us! We're going to give our all so we are looking forward to the energy and hopefully, the audience can get some in return!

My Music Taste

The “KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON” concert is an incredible opportunity to promote cultural exchange. What’s one British tradition or aspect of British culture that you’d like to experience this time?

The first thought that I had when I first visited the UK was that the streets were very different from Korea. I thought the architecture was fabulous so I just want to walk around and take pictures.

If you could invite one special person (it can be anyone) to watch your “KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON” performance, who would it be and why?

I would love to invite our vocal coach, who I really look up to. I consider him our second father but unfortunately, we’ve never had the chance to invite him to any of our concerts, so I would like to show him what we have got.

London is known for its unpredictable weather. How are you planning to adapt your fashion choices for any unexpected rain or shine during your time there?

I recently bought a waterproof hoodie! I think I’ll use that a lot!

Finally, do you have any message you’d like to send to your fans worldwide, including the audience in London who are eagerly waiting to see you perform at the “KOREA ON STAGE IN LONDON” concert?

It’s great to see you all again, and let's have fun like last time!
