This series will appreciate the men in K-Pop and K-Dramas that we have a crush on based on anything from their style, talent, personality, overall vibe, etc. We will learn more about the most crushable boys in the Korean industry and their incredible achievements.

Let's get to know our crush, KiHyun!

KiHyun is famous as part of the internationally-acclaimed monster boy group MONSTA X and as a soloist/entertainment all-rounder. MONSTA X is known for their incredible musical color. They have created their own musical and performance flavor that is irreplaceable in the industry. You can dissect any aspect of their performances or musicality and only discover greatness in your findings. Each member has a special effect that fuses together to make fans fall for the group's irresistible charm.
The same can be said about KiHyun, no matter which aspect of him you are looking into, you will likely only find one thing. That one thing is gold. KiHyun has the Midas touch when it comes to talent. Any talent he tries his hand at turns into gold. This goes for his golden personality, too.
Today, let's take a look at golden boy KiHyun and why everyone should have a crush on him.
Firstly, if you are new to KiHyun, here is some basic information about him. KiHyun was born on November 22, 1993. He has loved singing ever since his elementary school days and earnestly got into music thanks to his older brother's influence. He dreamt of becoming a singer after feeling the thrill of singing in front of a crowd at different events.
He debuted with MONSTA X in 2015 through the survival show "NO.MERCY".
However, the road to his debut was not easy. The show in itself was a rollercoaster ride of emotions for all of the participants and fans alike. However, KiHyun (as well as the other members) overcame it all, showed grit and persistence, and achieved his dream.
As a member of MONSTA X, he has made an immeasurable contribution.
He is known by many nicknames including 'the god of K-Pop', 'MONSTA X and MONBEBE's pride', and our new personal favorite 'golden boy'. This is all thanks to his iconic talents.
He has a booming voice that is clear and refreshing. His pitch control and effortless falsetto are some of the most endearing aspects of his voice. However, his low-register vocal tone is also exceptional. As he is the king of high notes and vocal runs, many tend to overlook his low tone but it is just as much of a blessing on the ear. In fact, his holistic vocal color is one-of-a-kind. Not to mention that his vocal range is out of this world. Whether it is making any genre his own, or showing off his ability to pull off any song style, KiHyun's voice can do it all. There is a reason that he is so sought-after for OSTs, after all.
His appearance on "King of Masked Singer" is a must-watch if you're just getting to learn the charm of his voice.
Not only does his voice perfectly suit MONSTA X's discography, but it especially stands out when he sings the pop and rock genres. You can experience a different side to his multiple charms by listening to his rock covers.

As proud as MONBEBE always are of KiHyun, they were especially proud when he made his solo debut. KiHyun debuted with the single album "Voyager" this year. His debut served as a reminder (not that we had forgotten) of how overflowingly charming he is, his powerful vocals, handsome visuals, and star power. The album encompassed his passion and solo musicality.

We also can't leave out his dancing. KiHyun's dance skills are excellent and he always exhibits extreme stability on stage. He has a fluid sense of rhythm that makes his dance lines captivating to look at. He makes the dance moves look effortless but sharp and deliberate at the same time.

You can also add producing (songwriting and composing) to the long list of things that he can do. His variety and radio persona add to his entertainment all-rounder status, too. Fans particularly enjoyed KiHyun on "Midnight Idol", along with fellow member I.M, where they loved hearing KiHyun speak and seeing him interact with other K-Pop artists. He has a lot of interesting things to say, which piqued the curiosity of not only MONBEBE but other fandoms, too. Unfortunately, he wrapped up the show in April this year, however, the fun moments will always be with fans.

KiHyun's personality can be summed up in one word: home. He is best known as a safe place for MONBEBE (MONSTA X's fandom) for a number of reasons. KiHyun is extremely expressive when it comes to the people that he loves; his family, fellow members, fans, and staff members are all included. He puts those dear to him first and is always warmhearted towards them. He always shows care for those around him in various ways. For example, during a fan call event, one of his fans had a hard time just before the call. The fan was trying to be brave but KiHyun assured them that they can cry in that moment if they felt like it. He emphasized that it was not like they are strangers and gave them a safe space to express their sadness. This is how deeply he cares about his fans. He does not consider MONBEBE as strangers but rather as his friends/family.
He has shown empathy for his fans on several occasions, listening to their concerns and comforting them. Even fans who have not had direct interactions with him have expressed how safe and comfortable the idol makes them feel. His presence is like a comforting hug that makes everything feel better. He always leaves warm messages of encouragement for fans and is truly like a golden ray of light to them.
KiHyun is also pretty good at being cheesy through his comments and his actions. He has natural aegyo that is instinctively adorable. He's especially good at saying sweet lines that will make you think of him as boyfriend material. KiHyun is also known for his diligent attitude and attention to detail in both his music and regular life.
You can see more of his cute side in his interactions with children. These interactions prove, once again, that he is a natural-born caregiver. He has a calming air that translates well with babies.

Another endearing fact about KiHyun is his love and eye for photography. He has a keen eye for aesthetic that makes us want to see the world from his perspective. Any of these photos would be perfect to expand, print, and frame on your walls.
