There's a certain allure to Korean dating shows that sets our romantic senses on fire. They possess the perfect balance of entertainment, witty side comments, and heart-fluttering romance. Regardless of whether it's the dead of winter or a lovely spring day, these dating shows come as a serotonin boost at any time.

While Netflix' "Single's Inferno" saw massive success on an international scale, it was not the first dating reality show to come out of South Korea. One notable name that appeared previously is none other than "Heart Signal". The dating show premiered its first season in 2017 and solidified itself as one Korea's most popular dating shows. Now, it's coming back with its fourth installment, "Heart Signal 4" on May 17, 2023, and fans are ecstatic.

In case you're unfamiliar with the "Heart Signal" series, here's a few reasons why you should give the dating show a chance.

        1. The Cast Of Panelists

        Channel A

Like many dating reality shows out there, "Heart Signal 4" has its own dedicated cast of panelists. For "Heart Signal 4", Kim EaNa, Yoon JongShin, and Lee SangMin return to the desk. They are joined by newcomers WINNER's Yoon, OH MY GIRL's Mimi, and Kim ChongGi. Every season, the panelists do not disappoint as they offer sound insight to the participants' actions, while also providing funny commentary. This season looks to be no different with its current lineup.

        2. A Combination Of Love And Daily Life

Being one of the first dating reality shows after the star-focused "We Got Married", "Heart Signal" offered a look into what it's like to pursue romance and continue on with your daily life. Although the participants live under one roof, they continue to commute to their job throughout the week. Then, in their free time, they're able to go on various date courses set up either by the staff or agreed upon with another person. This gives busybodies hope for work-life balance and the ability pursue both career and romance at the same time.

        3. Calm, Yet Heart-Fluttering Romance

"Heart Signal" offers a different appeal compared to the intense ferocity of "Single's Inferno". With the combination of living together, mixing daily life and romance, as well as incredible background music, there's an inexplainable calmness to the dating reality show. While you're covered in a tranquil peace, you will feel your heart racing at a million miles an hour from the lovely romance. As the show continues, you will feel yourself become more immersed and invested into the blooming relationships.
