5 Performances To Watch In Preparation For NCT DOJAEJUNG's Unit Debut

NCT is an idol group that allows for various combinations of members and genres. That's simply the perks of having 23 trained idols in the official lineup. Each sub-unit brings something special to the table and does not cease in captivating fans with their stunning stage performances. While the current sub-units are beyond amazing, many NCTzen wonder what it would be like to have certain members grouped together for official activities.

Those questions have been answered with the announcement of NCT's newest unit! NCT's DoYoung, JaeHyun, and JungWoo will be coming together to form DOJAEJUNG. While all three are part of the same sub-units in NCT U and NCT 127, many are curious how they will fair as a trio. Regardless, fans are extremely excited for the unit's debut on April 17th!

With their debut just a little under a month away, we've prepared a list of some performances you should check out!

1. JungWoo - Ne-Yo's 'So Sick'

During a camping trip with his fellow members, JungWoo sang this early 2000's love song. It was completely casual and wasn't an official cover, but the impact that it had on fans was insane. Many could not help but offer the idol mountains of praise for his swoon-worthy vocals. Years later and we're still hoping for an official cover by JungWoo.

2. DoYoung On "Master in the House"

DoYoung teamed up with one of South Korea's most notable singer-songwriters, Song ChangSik, on "Master in the House". Together, they delivered this moving rendition of 'It Is Love'. The fusion of the new era and old plucked on heartstrings and has the ability to move you to tears. Their passion for music transcends time and place, able to be felt through screens everywhere.

3. JaeHyun - Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'

JaeHyun uploaded a cover of this classic onto NCT's YouTube channel. His clear, pristine vocals sweeps over you and fills your body with an indescribable warmth. His performance of 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' gives quaint jazz bar vibes where you can get drunk off of his voice alone.

4. Christmas Carol Medley

Fans were able to get a little glimpse of the trio through this Christmas carol medley. Their crystal clear vocals matches the Christmas vibes perfectly and stir up holiday cheer within your heart. Whether they're singing alone or harmonizing with one another, their vocals are mesmerizing from start to finish.

5. 'Can We Go Back' on MBC Music Festival

Not only did they release YouTube content, but the trio made an appearance on a year-end award ceremony! Although only three of them stood on stage, they were able to fill it up with their overflowing charisma. It was probably from this moment that fans started to desperately hope for DOJAEJUNG's unit debut.
