3 Memorable Memes Kim WooSeok Chooses During 1st Look's "Meme Tour"

A big part of being a K-Pop fan is the abundance of content that's made along the way. From spectacular live stages to jaw-dropping pictures taken by loyal fansite managers, when it comes to your favorite artist, there's content abound from a variety of different sources. And while our favorite idols are inherently cool and charismatic, they often show a fun, quirky side to them at the most random of moments. These entertaining instances become gifs or memes that the entire fandom can enjoy.

Recently, UP10TION's Kim WooSeok collaborated with "1st Look" for a photoshoot and for some fun YouTube content. Together with the fashion and lifestyle magazine, the idol took a look at some memes that have been floating around in his fandom. He talks about their history and even learns what some memes stand for. The idol even picked out some memes that has left a lasting impression.

1. On His Way To Work

When asked if there are any memes he wants to explain before looking through the collection compiled by "1st Look", WooSeok does not hesitate. He explains a picture that was taken on his way to his MC job at MTV's "The Show". While most people would either go around or over a fence, on that day, WooSeok decides on a different path. In the meme, we see the idol push his body through the fence, receiving much laughter from fans and forum sites alike.

2. Resemblance To Parents

This meme of Kim WooSeok is a little more wholesome than the others. In Korean, it's referred to as KongKongPatPat, which makes a reference to just how much the idol resembles his parents. Using some of their older photographs as a base, fans compared just how similar WooSeok and his family look in all aspects.

3. Hissing Like A Cat

At first glance, Kim WooSeok scoffed at this meme right away. He explains that in response to a fan calling him cute like a cat, he immediately copied his own cat and hissed just like one. Although hisses are usually scary and inflict a bit of fright, WooSeok's hiss is incredibly adorable and sweet.
