SuA and Jun met during their days as trainees at CJ E&M. They were trainees at the same time and are the same age. During an evaluation, they even had to perform a couple dance together. They became close whilst preparing for that mission.

SuA recalls the dance as being quite difficult. She recalls the dance having many difficult techniques and having to unexpectedly do a handstand, too. The performance was well-received, however, and they even got a standing ovation.

It is no wonder that the two became friends over achieving such a difficult task.

The two are friends for a number of reasons. Jun has also mentioned that he likes SuA's personality.

His first impression of her was that she had a strong aura and danced really well. We totally agree with that impression as it is definitely still true!

Jun also joked about how SuA's incredible talent and his skill level, at the time, meant that he was controlled by her during their preparations for the evaluation. He learned a lot from her and even says that she is a powerful friend who he can never beat. His admiration for her is palpable.

The two have been supporting each other through their idol journeys ever since. In fact, they even congratulate each other on their song releases and comebacks and watch each other's stages regularly.
