SF9 is back even sexier after 6 months with 6th mini album "NARCISSUS". FANTASY has been waiting for the nine boys' comeback and it finally happened on Feb. 20, 6 pm KST.
FNC Entertainment invited Kpopmap on Feb. 20 to the press showcase where we were able to have a great insight on this comeback and on the members.
Just like how the title of their mini-album suggested, this concept revolves around the love for oneself, just like Narcissus in the Greek mythology back on a 21st-century version. The title track has mature vibes and tells a woman "don't get prettier" because now you are pretty enough. The concept is 'dirty sexy' and all the members showed their sexy sides to the public. YoungBin, InSeong, JaeYoon, DaWon, RoWoon, TaeYang, HwiYoung, Chani, and ZuHo prepared a lot for this album.
Some time ago, the agency announced that ZuHo could not join in this promotion because of a back injury. He has still participated in the MV shooting and photo concepts but will not be able to join other members on stage and music show promotions.
The album is composed of 6 songs, the title track 'Enough', 'Play Hard', 'Heartbeat', 'Life is So Beautiful', 'Fall In Love' and 'The Beat Goes On'. On this 6th mini-album, ZuHo co-composed songs from this album ('Play Hard' and 'Life is So Beautiful'). ZuHo, YoungBin, HwiYoung, and Chani also participated in lyrics.

For the group, this comeback is somewhat different from the previous ones. Korean media and public have been having a closer eye on the group for this comeback.
The huge break of the drama, "SKY Castle" which Chani acted in, has been giving an enormous amount of spotlight to the group. Chani has been receiving so much offers since then, he even joked on "Hello Counselor" that he wanted to change his name to the one of his character on the drama. Chani's individual activity has been receiving a lot of interest but there's more.
RoWoon also has been acting in dramas. The most recent work was “Where Stars Land” (SBS 2018) and he appeared in countless variety shows ("Hello Counselor", "Battle Trip", "Law of the Jungle", "Blind Date Cafe", "Weekend Playlist", "King of Mask Singer", etc).
InSeong's appearance in the TV show “Problematic Men” was also noticed by Korean media. It feels like this comeback might bring the group to the top of the charts.

At the beginning of the showcase, TaeYang and Chani opened the show with a short powerful introduction duo dance. Their dancing skills never disappoint!
All the members performed the sexy title track 'Enough'. The dance and outfits were seductive and charismatic on a top-quality stage. TaeYang's crop jacket caught eyes in particular. The synchronization was outstanding, the group's hard work could be seen from the stage.
Then, members answered a few questions that were asked by the host.
How do you feel about this comeback?
DaWon: I feel it is different from before. We prepared a lot so I hope everyone loves it!

Many people have been curious about Chani because of the popularity of "SKY Castle".
Chani: Thank you for liking "SKY Castle"..... Because of the busy schedule, I feel like I wasn't able to prepare as much as I wanted. I would also like to thank all of the members for waiting for me in our practice room even when it's super late at night due to my "SKY Castle" schedule. Thank you so much.
RoWoon added, that because Chani was a fast learner, he was able to quickly join others during the preparations and in the end, we managed to come back on schedule.
The group then performed 'Play Hard' (track 2 of the album, 화끈하게). The song had a different vibe from the title track and showed another side of the group. The members performed with smiling faces and energic dance moves to this song. Make sure to listen to this as it will bring your feelings up. It was an attractive, fresh and exciting performance!

Do you feel that you have more fans?
JaeYoon: I am very happy that we have more and more fans coming out to see us every time we have world tours. Also, I'm thankful for people that got interested in us through RoWoon and Chani's drama appearances.
RoWoon, you asked fans to have a look at Chani's focus camera. You promote Chani even more than yourself, why? [E.g. RoChan is well-loved among FANTASY].
RoWoon: I uploaded the link of Chani's focus camera on our fan cafe because I thought that clip showed such a cool side of Chani and yet, there weren't many views. I wanted to share this with our fans.
To this, Chani showed his gratitude towards RoWoon.
It is heartwarming to see members supporting each other with sincere hearts.
Who among the members do you think suits the 'dirty sexy' concept the most?
InSeong [pointing at YoungBin]: YoungBin, we are of the same age but he looks sexier. I am envious.
Other members mostly chose HwiYoung and TaeYang. They said that HwiYoung's atmosphere suited this concept.
When do you think SF9 is the coolest?
YoungBin: I think it is when members are taking care of each other. Members especially take care of Chani.
JaeYoon: I think it is when we dance and sing and when we have fun together, it looks like a bromance.
ZuHo participated in the composition and production of this album but could not join. Is he recovering?
YoungBin: At the hospital, they recommended him to rest as a precautionary measure as it might get worse if it is not treated properly. He kept apologizing to us and he wrote to us every day to give us support.
Do you have any episode that you want to share in this comeback?
Chani: At first, the dance was hard. In the choreography, the knees touch to the floor and the first days, we got bruises. Now, we are ok and it doesn't hurt, we got used to it.
Who is the one that improved the most in music since debut? This album has many genres, how are you handling it?
InSeong: All of the members. Because we studied for numerous concepts and various kinds of music in every album. We acquired all of them. For example, in my case, I was more into ballads but as I get deeper into dance music I was able to learn how to become sexy.
RoWoon: We have been doing a lot of concepts from "Mamma Mia" to "O Sole Mio". I think we have all these sides in us, and we got to show them at each comeback, one by one.
Are there any songs that you wish were the title track besides 'Enough'?
YoungBin: I liked 'The Beat Goes On'. The lyrics talk about the universe and fantasy. I thought that it could make a good connection for our fans, FANTASY.
HwiYoung: I like all the songs. We prepared the album during winter. At that time with the feelings of winter, I thought 'Fall in Love' would be a good choice. But now, spring is coming so 'Enough' is more suitable I guess.
SF9 is one more time showing to the public their good teamwork and performances.
