On Oct. 10, SF9 just held their online concert “NOOB CON 2020". YoungBin, InSeong, JaeYoon, DaWon, RoWoon, ZuHo, Yoo TaeYang, HwiYoung, and Chani had prepared a lot and made happy memories with FANTASY.
The group just released their special album "SPECIAL HISTORY BOOK" and title track 'Shine Together' to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the group on Oct. 5. Members have also been busy with individual schedules such as drama filming and appearance on TV shows. InSeong was the MC at “ISAC 2020 Chuseok Dog-Agility Companionship”, DaWon had his own web tv show “WDDD”, InSeong and HwiYoung were the lead roles in the web drama “DokGoBin Is Updating", Chani is the MC at “Show! Music Core”, RoWoon is filming for the drama “Sunbae, Don't Put On That Lipstick", etc. Members are coming up with more such as HwiYoung and Zuho cast in web dramas and InSeong in a musical.
FANTASY has been eagerly waiting to meet the boys again and their wish came true with the “NOOB CON 2020". SF9 first planned to meet fans through the online concert back on Aug. 8 but the concert was postponed to last Saturday night due to RoWoon's health issues. Still being careful, he was advised by the doctor to avoid intense movement so he sang while sitting on the chair.
We watched the show and here is what you shouldn't miss from the concert.
The concert started with an arty and mysterious VCR.

Then, the members appeared on a stage on fire (fire effects and LED background) with beautiful navy velvet suits with shinning embroideries. They started the concert with an impactful entrance on upbeat songs. The first stage was 'Fire' which performance was first released that night and made by YoungBin. It was followed by the powerful title tracks 'Now or Never' and 'RPM'.

SF9 greeted fans and mentioned they were glad to spend a happy time with FANTASY before sleeping. In the comment sections, fans shared their excitement with comments such as “I can't calm down”.
They moved to other performances with 'All Day All Night' (first release for the concert), 'Be My Baby', and finally 'Good Guy' with a lot of golden confetti.

Members mentioned that they were nervous since they can't see fans. The next section was solo and unit performances for which they had practiced a lot.
The first member with a solo performance was YoungBin for his song 'Rain Drop' (available on his SoundCloud here). He was sitting on stairs surrounded by smoke and rain.

Next was InSeong with a breathtaking solo stage for the cover of I.O.I's 'Downpour'. His beautiful voice, high notes, and emotions made this song one of the highlights of the concert.

Following, Yoo TaeYang and JaeYoon duo covered the English song 'Stuck With U' by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. The stage was especially well-thought with dual-color white and yellow and the two tied from their wrists with a huge tie.

The maknaes HwiYoung and Chani had prepared a cool stage for '010' (available on HwiYoung's SoundCloud here). Chani was the first to make a smoky appearance with an opened jacket revealing his abs followed by HwiYoung. The mise-en-scène was amazing with black and white effects, smoke, lighting, and etc.

DaWon opened the next part while taking the Jigubong (lightstick) out of a box. Members appeared in lovely pink and white outfits with laces and ribbons. They performed to 'Heartbeat', 'Summer Breeze', 'Dance with Us', and 'Mamma Mia'.
Members had much fun for the latest stage all laughing and bringing the tension up. Yoo TaeYang even ended the stage with a jump split. Also during the stage, JaeYoon's shirt kept on opening revealing his chiseled abs (was he buttoning up or unbuttoning? That is a mystery I still did not solve).

Talking a bit more about 'Mamma Mia', members mentioned that at first they did not really like the song but with time they ended up liking it now and that it is a good song for stage performance as it brings the energy up. Chani concluded the talking section by saying that 'Mamma Mia' was like JaeYoon because they both have high tension.
Next, SF9 performed to 'Into The Night' and 'Beautiful Light'. The fan song was featuring 1000 FANTASY's fan chant and members stayed quiet at the last chorus to listen to their voices. Prior to the concert, fans had sent their recording.
After a quick VCR on 'One Love', RoWoon appeared wearing pajamas and was into serious talking when InSeong and JaeYoon made a funny entrance. All appearing in pajamas they performed to 'The Beat Goes On' in a new style with a dim stage filled with bubbles while holding lightsticks.

After a brief ASMR section, they talked about the stage of 'Beautiful Light' featuring FANTASY. ZuHo said that he was touched and also did not forget to thank the engineer that have compiled the voices of numerous FANTASY. ZuHo continued by saying he was happy that his wish to have a song with FANTASY was now realized.
HwiYoung mentioned that his heart melted and DaWon added that he gets emotional when he hears FANTASY. Talking about fans, they moved to their recently released song 'Shine Together' holding a special message for FANTASY for the group's 4th anniversary.

It was already time for the ending talks. Members thanked fans for attending and expressed their endless love for fans. One of the most memorable parts was YoungBin sharing what HwiYoung had told him. HwiYoung said that he is still the same as 4 years ago but as he is growing older, he finds it sad that the reality is changing when he is not.
Finally, they had a final shouting. It was a different one than the usual “Let's increase our family”. This time it was “가족은 영원하다” or “Family is forever / Let's be forever a family”.
The show ended on a special piano version of 'My Story My Song' by ZuHo for FANTASY as a lullaby.

Final thoughts
The two hours concert was filled with great stages. For sure, members had prepared a lot for the concert with special stages and first-released performances. The solo and unit stages were nice.
I particularly like the outfits throughout the concert which were diverse, pretty, and suiting the members. The stage mise-en-scene was also good.
Prior to the concert, FANTASY was recommended to lay down. Is there any FANTASY that managed to stay lying down? It was definitely not my case.
The BOON CUT after the concert with members putting fans to sleep and the next morning with members waking up fans was a very cute idea.
It was a happy time! I am hoping that RoWoon recovers soon and to see all the members happy and healthy soon.
