Mnet "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR" will be premiering on April 1 and Kpopmap thought that it would be interesting to do a write up where we share some of the basic information as well as the points we should be looking out for each group appearing on the survival show.

Continuing this introduction series, we will be covering SF9as the next group!
Mnet
SF9 debuted under FNC Entertainment in 2016 and they have a total of 9 members (InSeong, JaeYoon, YoungBin, DaWon, ZuHo, RoWoon, Yoo TaeYang, HwiYoung and Chani). Prior to their debut, they had participated in FNC Entertainment survival show "d.o.b" and was known as NEOZ DANCE for a period of time before they emerged as winners and debuted as SF9.

During their debut promotion, their interesting and one of a kind choreography for 'K.O.' had caught the attention of many. They were 'spinning' and lifting one member after another!
In addition, their sharp and synchronised dance movements for their debut track 'Fanfare' had also made many notice that they are group filled with a lot of potential.
Later, the boys continued to impress fans even more with their solid discography and amazing team work. Some of their other hit tracks also include 'O Sole Mio,' 'MAMA MIA,' 'Now or Never' and so on.
In 2017, they received the "Rising Star Award" from "Asia Artist Awards", proving that they are rising group to look out for.

Not just in Korea, SF9 was also receiving positive responses from K-Pop fans overseas. In just a year after their debut, they had already traveled to Japan and U.S to greet their fans as well as promote as a group. Over time, their name became bigger and bigger, standing at where they are right now thanks to their hard work.
They had received their 1st win on music show with 'Good Guy' on Mnet "Mcountdown" in 2020.

Now that we know SF9 is great in the performance, you will definitely find yourself falling for them even more when you listen to this live clip of them singing to 'Shine Together'.
Their soothing and smooth vocals are all you need to make your day full again.
'Enough' performance clip
Yes we are going to emphasize once again about their dancing skills just because the boys deserve it!
During the promotion for 'Enough', SF9 had also filmed a special performance clip with 'DINGO'. The camera work is just spectacular and we get to admire the well-made choreography for this track.
'Play Hard'
One reason why FANTASY loves SF9 so much is because they look like they are just enjoying on stage!
If you are not getting what we mean, make sure to check out the stage of 'Play Hard' on "THE SHOW". Their outfits, hair styling, facial expressions and so on were so captivating, making fans go head over heels for them once again.
Aside from focusing on their music career, the members are also busy with their individual activities.

Many of them are involved in acting and some of examples include RoWoon acting in dramas such as "Extraordinary You," "She Would Never Know" and will be appearing as the male lead in "Yeonmo". Chani had also acted since he was a kid in many dramas and web dramas. His notable works include "SKY Castle," "True Beauty," "Must You Go?" and will be appearing in "Imitation".
Other members such as HwiYoung, Zuho, InSeong, YoungBin and DaWon also have and will have acting experience.
Moving on from acting, we also cannot miss out on how the members are involved in different parts of the entertainment industry. Chani ("Music Core") and InSeong ("WE K-POP") also have MC-ing experiences.

Thanks to these opportunities, many K-Pop fans watching the shows got to know who they are, further promoting the name of SF9.
In addition, ZuHo and HwiYoung are active on their Soundcloud accounts as they share with their fans the music which they have created. If you are curious to find out more about their music taste, you should definitely give them a listen.
As the rapper of the group, HwiYoung had also appeared on Mnet "High School Rapper" Season 2, showing off the skills that he had.
Of course, we can't miss out on how DaWon had his own web variety series on M2 YouTube channel. It was hilarious and absolutely entertaining.
As it comes with English subtitles, many international K-Pop fans had truly enjoyed the series and hoped to see him return with another of his own show soon.

As they embark on the new journey on Mnet "KINGDOM : LEGENDARY WAR", fans believe that they will step up and step out of their comfort zone to come up with stages that they have never seen before. Some also think that through the show, K-Pop fans who do not know much about them will also fall in love with their unique charms, possibly turning into a FANTASY.
