The Rose is back with a new song and while we have gotten our internet secured and are seated on our favorite spaces on the couch or on the bed as we hit the play button and stream endlessly, our minds can't help but go back and remember so many incredible tunes that the famous band has gifted us with over the years.

With The Rose, one thing we are grateful for and consistently appreciate is their commitment to creating quality masterpieces. Masterpieces that can make a writer from Nigeria, sitting in the corner of his bedroom looking out his window and feel like he is not alone as his worries, his voice, and his story, could very well be heard and felt from the song he is listening to.

Writing this, we have to say, while we may have almost greedily come to expect this kind of revolutionary feeling from The Rose's songs, it still draws a high level of amazement and awe as to how they consistently deliver in making music, a meaningful tool that illustrates or reflects the thoughts and dreams of everyone.

With their latest release 'Back To Me', we found at various listens, we found ourselves holding our pillows tights, screaming our lungs in unison with WooSung's vocals, or just nodding our heads with an affirmed yes in respect to their immerse talent and the surging feeling of strength, hope, and reassurance it breeds in its listeners.

With the release of this song, like we mentioned earlier, we kept thinking of similar amazing songs by The Rose that deserve to be streamed alongside this release. While all their songs are special and hold deep meaning and reverence to global fans, here are 5 to get you started or simply lock you into the mesmerizing world of The Rose and the art they create and share with the world.

        1. 'Time'

The "HEAL" album stayed through to its meaning as each of its tracks brought a special message that could very well reflect the thought or situations of its listener. While 'Time' is such a catchy bop with a chorus that might have you bumping your head to its rhythm, its lyrics are what for us, makes it so so special and meaningful. It sought of puts you in a space where you imagine speaking or singing these same lyrics to someone you love or hold close to. A partner, parent, sibling, or friend, it breeds a sense of urgency to appreciate every moment shared with them as time in itself is fleeting but it gives us a space and opportunity to love and heal.

        2. 'Childhood'

The Rose has a long list of songs that makes you want to sit down and reflect on your life, past, future plans, and dreams. And for us 'Childhood' perhaps tops that list as any time we found ourselves overwhelmed and stung out with doubt, worry or fear, this is one of the songs we listen to and somehow, we have a good understanding of what we should be doing and appreciating now.

        3. 'RED'

Honestly, we are listening to this song again and one of the thoughts that came rushing to our minds is that "it is so hard not to get addicted to The Rose's songs." Is it the vocal, strings, or drums? what is that extra special ingredient that The Rose adds to their songs that makes it suit the taste and appeal of a large fan base? Or is it in the lyrics and overall concept or message they project with their arts? We will sit back and crack our heads about this some other time but right now, we just want to be RED!!

        4. 'She's In The Rain'

Hearts are breaking, tears are slowly falling down the face of many and others are simply looking at the grey skies as mother nature understands their mood and is ready to make their experience while listening to this song even more wholesome. In our experience, we will go with the first reaction as their is an overwhelming feeling of sadness we get while listening to this song. It is the good kind, almost cathartic, as it gives your body and minds a chance to rid itself off of those pent-up emotions that cloud our minds. This is such a beautiful tune to listen to and for those listening to this in the rain, please wear a raincoat or at least take along an umbrella because The Rose doesn't have a song called 'Flu'.

        5, 'Sorry'

Is it a complete The Rose song list without this masterpiece? Honestly, we think not. One of our favorite The Rose's songs yet, many fans often say that this is the song that pulled them into The Rose and their universe, and somehow we hope that following this article, many would continue to say this as well. At first listen, it almost feels the song that is played at the final scene of an action movie. You know, the part where the hero has defeated the evil boss but he realizes he is now alone as he walks along on the tarred and dusty round in search of a place to call home again. From the vocals to the strings and drum, this song has everything and no matter how many times we listen, we find ourselves appreciating it all over again.
