Why look forward to it?: Not only is the cast made up of shining rookie and idol actors, but just reading the synopsis of this drama will have your heart fluttering. The drama promises to be a somewhat dramatic but feel-good watch that promises youthful sentiment and an entertaining viewing experience.

 

2. "Branding in Seongsu"

When: From February 5

Cast: Kim JiEun, Lomon, Yang HyeJi, Kim HoYoung, Jung YiRang, Ahn YunHong

Genre: Office Romance

Summary: A romance thriller drama set against the backdrop of Seongsu-dong, the mecca of branding, unfolds as the sharp-witted marketing team leader Kang NaEon and intern So EunHo undergo a soul-changing experience after an unexpected kiss.

Why look forward to it?: Not only is the casting serving young vibes with beautiful visuals, but the storyline already promises a plot-twist-filled viewing experience. Looking at the teasers, Kim JiEun's character shows an interesting duality in her role, and so does Lomon - especially after their 'soul-changing experience'. The character dynamics already promise to be a highlight of the series.

 

3. "MiNa, Did You Change Your Profile Picture Again?"

When: From February 7

Cast: Kim TaeYoung, Kang SungHoon, Ko DoHa, Moon Xion

Genre: Romance, Slice-of-Life

Summary: A hyper-realistic drama portraying the love life of Lee MiNa (who is in her 20s), who frequently changes her profile picture at any given moment due to her boyfriend.

Why look forward to it?: "MiNa, Did You Change Your Profile Picture Again?" is a spin-off of the hit Wavve original series "Damn Good Company". It dives further into the story of the popular character Lee MiNa. The drama is quite straightforward with a blunt tone that will make for a refreshing viewing experience as you take a look into Lee MiNa's relatable daily life. This is a great drama to watch if you need some stress relief as her character tells it like it is.

cignature have made their much anticipated return to the music scene with 4th mini album "Us In The Summer". This time around, however, the girl group will be promoting with only six members, as Belle is slated to participate in SBS' survival competition program, "Universe Ticket". While fans are sure to miss Belle's presence, SignFan (cignature's fandom) are overjoyed at the return of their favorite girl group.

"Us In The Summer" presents four new songs that sound absolutely magical. From a mid-tempo dance track to a moving ballad, the girl group has returned to steal hearts once again. In particular, 'Smooth Sailing' acts as this mini album's title track. It's upbeat, showcases the girls' incredible vocals, and has easy enough choreography that will have fans dancing everywhere. As with most releases, it brings along with it an accompanying music video.

Here are a few refreshing scenes that we absolutely loved!

 

1. JeeWon Cycling On An Empty Street

Kicking off the music video, we see JeeWon riding a bike down an empty street. Her smiling face, the composition of the shot, and the general vibe creates a scene that feels carefree and lighthearted. It sets the foundation for the rest of the MV and the good energy that's sure to come.

 

2. Hanging Out In The School Courtyard

Although summer school might be a drag, there's a certain allure to having the school all to yourself and a bunch of your friends. The cignature members capture this feeling perfectly as they hang around the school courtyard. From taking polaroid photos to dancing around, they create such a happy-go-lucky mood that you cannot help but smile from ear to ear.

 

3. Choreography Sequence On The Rooftop

One of the highlights of the music video is the girl group's dance sequence on top of the school rooftop. With the backdrop of a setting sun and flower petals whirling around them, it feels ethereal, like a manhwa panel  come to life. It provides a sense of freedom and youthful innocence that's amplified with summer's warm, inviting rays.

 

4. Festival Performance

A key part of summer are the fun festivals, loaded with food, excitement, and dazzling fireworks. As the MV ends, it has all these elements, combined with the mesmerizing aura of cignature. The end result makes you feel like the main character of a coming-of-age film, set to partake in one last hurrah. Seeing cignature perform at a summer festival would be a special opportunity that we surely would not miss.
