This week, we have the two incredible male leads of "Yumi's Cells": Gu Woong (played by Ahn BoHyun) & Yoo BaBi (played by GOT7's JinYoung), for your consideration. In season 1, Kim YuMi (played by Kim GoEun) falls in love with Gu Woong and has a fulfilling relationship with him that comes to an abrupt end when Woong is unable to let go of his pride. As the two individuals were in different places in their lives, a conflict of interest resulted in an inevitable separation, despite the love they had for each other.
Following their break-up, YuMi finds herself dejected and lost but is steered back into the direction of her dreams by Yoo BaBi, a coworker. Season 2 follows the love story of Yoo BaBi and Kim YuMi, a couple that seems to be perfectly in sync.
Just like YuMi's cells, viewers are also divided between YuMi's love interests and with Gu Woong making a return in Season 2, we cannot wait to see what happens next.

Gu Woong is a game developer whose predominant personality traits are loyalty, thoughtfulness and reliability. He is passionate, hard-working and driven but can sometimes lose sight of reality. He is fairly straight-forward but doesn't always open up about his true feelings. As a result, it leads him to making some regrettable decisions.
Woong's style is casual, relaxed, and comfy but not careless. There's a marked change in his fashion after he starts dating YuMi and in season 2, his appearance takes quite a turn. While YuMi grows her hair out for BaBi, Gu Woong cuts his hair short, despite his love for his long hair, signaling a shift in their positions and priorities in life. In season 1, Gu Woong's fashion reflected his entrepreneurial life whereas, in season 2, it is more suited to a university student.
Yoo BaBi (GOT7's JinYoung)

Yoo BaBi has had eyes for YuMi ever since season 1 and he finally pursues her actively in season 2. While YuMi doesn't consider him as a prospective romantic partner at first, his persistence and warmth melt her heart until she's ready to give love another chance. Yoo BaBi makes YuMi feel loved and adored, which is exactly what she needed after a heart-break. He also urges her to chase her dreams and brings out the best in her.
Yoo BaBi has a consistently clean style, as expected of a gentleman. At work, his fashion is professional yet never boring or mundane. BaBi's colour palette alternates between neutrals and pastels, which give off a romantic vibe. At home, athleisure is his go-to fit, with hoodies and sweatshirts filling up most of his wardrobe. BaBi's fashion makes him seem like a stable and responsible person.
