EVERGLOW Returns As Female Warriors From The Future With "LAST MELODY"

8 months about their last comeback, EVERGLOW is back with their 3rd single album "LAST MELODY".

Kpopmap was honoured to be invited to attend the online media showcase and we are here to share with you some of the exclusive contents that we have collected.

At the beginning of the showcase, the girls had opened with the long-awaited title track live performance 'FIRST'.

Once again, they did not disappoint with their amazing live vocals, jaw-dropping choreography and addictive beats.

After catching their breath, the girls finally greeted those watching the online showcase with their lovely smiles.

This was when we could take a close look at the outfits which they were wearing.

The girls were clad in all black with beautiful details on their outfits that differentiate them from one another.

They shared that for the past 8 months, they had been working hard to release this album and had also met their fans through a virtual stadium concert on "KCON:TACT 3" back in March.

In addition, they had also released a 3-part documentary that featured their true feelings and emotions while preparing for this album.

EVERGLOW did not forget to explain that title of the documentary series is called "FOR:EVER:GLOW" - the combination of their fandom and group's name.

As the MC also praised their significant amount of views for 'LA DI DA' music video, EVERGLOW shared that if they hit 100 million views, they will dress up as smurfs and release a dance practice video for their latest title track 'FIRST'.

Adding on to the good news, they were also excited to share that they will be holding their 1st online concert this coming July 25.

Onda teased many by sharing that aside from their powerful performances, fans can look forward to their solo stages.

YiRen also added on by mentioning that there will be unit stages and the chance to check out their adorable sides.

Moving on, it was also noted that currently, the leader of EVERGLOW is SiHyeon. SiHyeon shared that she would do her very best and work hard in leading the group.

Finally touching on their latest single album "LAST MELODY," SiHyeon explained that it is an album where their group's unique musicality can be seen through the title track, 'FIRST' as well as the B-side tracks ('DON'T ASK DON'T TELL' and 'PLEASE PLEASE').

'FIRST' is a track that talks about finding the light from darkness and comes with a strong and dynamic performance.

They had also returned with a powerful and mature concept and many can look forward to how they had improved over time.

Aisha mentioned that compared to their previous title track, the choreography for 'FIRST' is probably the 'spiciest'.

Mia also did not hesitate to show off 2 of the point movements for the choreography! It was eye-catching and something you would expect from the girls of EVERGLOW.

Touching on some of the memorable episodes that took place while filming the music video, there was a scene where the girls had to film standing on top of a mirror.

The staff warned them that it will crack if 4 people stand on it. Yet, because of their curiosity, they attempted to stand on it with 4 members and luckily nothing happened.

Moving on to questions sent in advance by reporters, some asked what are the points that people should focus on with this comeback.

Onda pointed out that they had made use of hiphop dance in their performance and it is one of the points that many should look out for.

Answering the questions on the image they wish to show the public, YiRen shared that she hoped that people would be able to see them as chic female warriors from the future who had time travelled.

It fits the story which they are trying to tell and hope that through this opportunity, many would also get to know their name.

E:U also emphasized the hair transformation and pointed out how Mia had dyed her hair with electric blue. As for SiHyeon, she had also layered her hair.

Through this comeback and promotion, EVERGLOW shared that they hope that more people would get to know their name. In addition, they want to become an idol group with positive influence and could not wait for the day to come.

Ending the short session, the girls later closed the online showcase with a live performance of 'PLEASE PLEASE'.

For the past 8 months, the girls had gone through a lot to return with such a well-prepared album that we can definitely see their sincerity and hard work.
