WAKER is a 6-member K-Pop boy group consisting of KoHyeon, Kwon Hyeop, Ijun, Leo, SaeByeol, and SeBum. The group is signed to HOWLING Entertainment. WAKER made their K-pop debut officially on January 8, 2024, but they had released a pre-debut track titled 'Dash' before that, which was also met with a positive response from K-Pop fans. Their debut song 'Atlantis', the title track of their 1st mini-album, "Mission of School" showed immense potential, raising interest among K-Pop fans for their music.

Now, you may be wondering how Park JiHoon is involved in all of this. They're not even from the same company! Well, the answer lies in the past. K-Pop group WAKER member Kwon Hyeop is a former Maroo Entertainment trainee, the same company as Park JiHoon. Not only that, Kwon Hyeop was a contestant on "Produce 101 Season 2", representing Maroo Entertainment alongside Park JiHoon. The two go way back and continue to share a warm relationship, as is clear from Park JiHoon's congratulatory message.

Now, in the case of WAKER member Ijun, he was also a former Maroo Entertainment trainee. In addition, Ijun used to be a dancer for Park JiHoon too! Now, even after changing companies, Park JiHoon and Ijun seem to be as close as ever.

Kwon Hyeop replied to Park JiHoon's story cheering him on for his ongoing K-Drama "Love Song For Illusion" while Ijun endearingly wished him a happy 2024.

Kwon Hyeop is currently the Rapper of K-Pop group WAKER, and Ijun has the position of Dancer in the group. You can follow Kwon Hyeop - @kwon_hyeop_ and Ijun - @joiijun on Instagram.
