3 Things Seo KangJoon Liked About His Character On JoonYoung From "The Third Charm"

        "ESQUIRE Korea"

Over a month ago, Seo KangJoon completed his required military service and made his much anticipated discharge on May 22nd. Now, fans will be able to see the actor return to television screens everywhere, as the co-lead for another memorable drama.

While no news has officially been announced, the actor has shared that he's positively reviewing scripts and actively looking to dive into his next big project. For now, he's slowly integrating back into the entertainment industry.

Upon his discharge, KangJoon was able to meet with fashion magazine, "ESQUIRE Korea", for a photoshoot and to film some behind the scenes content. In the content video, the actor talked about various topics like the food he missed the most, how he wants to be absorbed by work, and even brief backstories on his previous characters.

He eventually started to talk about one of his favorite characters, On JoonYoung, from the heart-fluttering slice-of-life, "The Third Charm". Check out the things he liked about On JoonYoung down below!

        1. How JoonYoung Showed Love

One of the first things the actor mentions about On JoonYoung is the way he loves Lee YoungJae (ESom). JoonYoung's feelings are sincere and genuine, coming from a place of pure innocence. His ability to remain true and faithful to his feelings, despite the challenges, is awe-inspiring and fills anyone with a feeling of indescribable warmth, including Seo KangJoon.

        2. Watching Him Mature Throughout Time

Audiences meet JoonYoung at the ripe age of 20, a time when he's just learning how the world works. What sets him apart, that even KangJoon likes, is the fact that we meet JoonYoung at different stages of his life. We become witnesses to both his romantic journey and journey of personal growth. And seeing him go through these different stages stirs feelings of nostalgia and comfort in your heart.

        3. A Character That's Real And Relatable

Now while On JoonYoung doesn't represent everyone, he's a character that feels real and relatable. Even for Seo KangJoon, the actor piloting the character, he takes in everything that's happening with JoonYoung and accepts it as something could happen in his own life. This retrospective outlook really makes one consider every possibility and that perhaps, we ourselves are the main characters in our own drama.
