PURPLE KISS, a six-member girl group from RBW Entertainment, recently performed to a sold-out crowd at the Granada Theater last week. Dedicated PLORY (the group’s fandom name) started to queue up at 5 AM to ensure they could get the best spot at the cozy Minneapolis Uptown venue.
Well known for their powerful vocals, PURPLE KISS consists of six members: Na GoEun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, ChaeIn, and Swan. The group officially debuted in March 2021 with the mini album "Into Violet" with the title track 'Ponzona'. Avid K-Pop fans might recognize the group’s members as they have taken part in various K-Pop survival shows, such as "Produce 48" and most recently, "Queendom Puzzle".

Much to the surprise of the local crowd, the group mixed in full English versions of their singles, including the ever-so-popular 'Zombie', 'Sweet Juice', 'Ponzona', and their most recent comeback '7HEAVEN', with their standard Korean songs. The group also broke up into sub-groups to perform popular western hits with ChaeIn and Ireh performing Charlie Puth’s 'We Don’t Talk Anymore' and Saweetie & GALXARA’s 'Sway With Me' while Swan, Dosie, and Na GoEun performed Charlie Puth’s 'Light Switch' and Lady Gaga’s 'Rain on Me'.

“We wanted to show a different side of PURPLE KISS,” Ireh said during a break between sets. “So, we put a lot of effort into our song selection process.” Swan quickly followed it up with, “We discussed everything among the members about the song selection and dividing the parts. It all came together perfectly.”
As with all Leo Presents tours, many tickets came with extremely fan-friendly perks, such as group photos with the members, a full fan sign where attendees could get whatever they wished signed and a unique selfie event where attendees are able to take selfies with each idol.

With tight choreography to match their perfect vocals, PURPLE KISS is not a show to be missed. After Minneapolis, the group continued its FESTA tour with further stops in Denver, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
